Tiger Garden

Waiters seemed hostile. Not very welcoming they were more concerned with getting us out before 2 so that they could close. Food was not spectacular.

Well managed and properly spaced tables for covid safety .

The food was excellent , the service was quick and efficient .

The staff were friendly and special bonus they had Tiger Beer .

Waiters were polite enough but quite brusk and rushed couldn’t help but feel customers were an inconvenience to them.
Not all waiters wore their masks appropriately.
Popadoms were stale
Portions were good, food was served hot

We booked this restaurant and received confirmation!
We then travelled over an hour, looking forward to an enjoyable lunch, only to arrive at an empty restaurant (except for staff who were eating a meal), and were told that they closed within an hour and they had no record of our booking!
I still have the confirmation email...but we did not receive an apology! We felt we were intruding: needless to say, we will NEVER return...and let this be a warning to anyone even considering going to Tiger Garden in Marlow.

Tasty food but service felt rushed even though the restaurant was nearly empty. Although the food was good, it was expensive- £70 for 2 people with 1 beer!

The food service was rushed and the waiter had to be asked three times for a simple beer. Food was ok, nothing special. Somewhat disappointed. Marlow has great food options, they really need to improve

Out for dinner with a friend I hadn’t seen in a while and I just felt like the staff wanted us out quickly. Had only been eating popadoms for 10 minutes before the mains arrived and we had to just get on with it. It then felt like every 5 minutes someone came over to check if we’d finished our main. After telling two waiters we wanted to keep going we just gave up and let our plates be taken away. Never ever felt so rushed to eat anywhere before and sadly will not be returning.

Very tasty food. Accomodating also has we had a young child with us.

Service included in bill could be the cause of this as no mileage in them putting in that extra effort

Unlikely as the cab driver informed us on way back to hotel that there are 2 better restaurants in town so if I was to ever return to Marlow would quite probably try them

As ever, excellent food prepared on the premises, attentive (but not over attentive service), crisp white linen napkins and tablecloths - no wonder it was packed.

I would have like to have given 5 stars as the food was very nice and I would return to try other items on the menu. We had the mixed platter as a starter and was disappointed that considering it contained sheek kebab & tikka it was brought out on the plate, not sizzling with onions which we have had elsewhere. Therefore, it was Luke warm and not as appetising. The mains were lovely! Service was hit and miss...the majority of staff were so friendly, however a couple were extremely miserable which was a little uncomfortable. I do appreciate the rugby had taken place that day and it was busy so it was a shame this may have reflected in the level of quality in food & service.

It was not something to remember. We have diner at restaurants in and out of Open-table but this is the one place that we find rude. Food was average and oily, bit dull. Service was touch and go! Place cold and table congested. As well the restaurant seem to not understand/ accept open-table cheque even when tried to explain. Feel let down as this was a special occasion we were eagerly looking forward

Ate there as a group of 7. The food was exceptional - especially the giant king prawns.

Good food and service at a fair price, only small critisum was that the service charge was included in the bill.
I would rather reward the staff according to the service provided, which on this occasion was very good!

we have visited Tiger Garden many times since the day it opened. Always reliable, and food has got even better in the past year, and presentation of dishes also has got better - maybe they have a new chef ? Gets busy on Friday and Saturday nights and can take a while for food, so we go early on (between 7-8pm) and its fairly fast at that time.

Being coming here for years and the quality of the food and the level of service never disappoints. Definitely my favourite curry restaurant.

Although the ambience was nice and comfortable the food and menu was not anything different to any other Indian restaurant. The service was too full on and both my guest and I felt very much as though we were being raced through the meal in order to leave the table as early as possible. Will not be recommending this as a place to eat as the the evening was a special one for us and the staff made it feel as though we were not welcome and merely a table that needed to be cleared quickly.

Food distinctly average, lamb tikka over cooked. Staff overly attentive, hardly got an opportunity to talk amongst ourselves. Also appeared to be a little irritated if we didn't make choices quickly enough.

Unlikely to visit again.

Worst place we have ever been to from food to service and ambience. We booked the table on your website and on our arrival they said there was no reservation. They then accommodated us at the end of the building where they have Some tables in a marque attached to the building with 2 electric heaters providing little heat, it was -1 outside. When we complained and asked to move inside the restaurant we were told the 4-5 separate tables were all reserved. We found out that these tables were kept free in the hope off a larger group arriving! When we ordered tap water we were told they have a problem with the water! They clearly wanted us to buy bottled water. The food was also dreadful and when we complained about the quality of the food no offer was made to correct or replace it. We then had to wait so long for the bill and at this point we were so cold that we then complained bitterly. When we told them we didn't want to pay the service charge they started had the audacity to complain! How this place, terrible in so many ways, is still in business I have no idea. Avoid big time!

Great food,service and value for money. This is fast becoming our favourite Indian and they have an outside garden for lovely evenings !

had 2 meals recently at Tiger Garden , one social and one business. On both occasions the food was excellent, service very good and its a nice layout.

An excellent and relaxed dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious and the the service was both very polite and timely. My wife and I can't wait to return and enjoy an alternative choice of the delightful food. also, we shall definitely recommend The Tiger Garden to our friends and relations.

Always a pleasure to eat at this restaurant NEVER disappointing. Very welcoming people who attend to your every need. Food always excellent , good portions , good menu choice and affordable . Ambiance lovely.

My husband and I ate here Saturday evening had a lovely window table. good food and service. Would definitely recommend.
