It was a beautiful day and we were seated outdoors overlooking the Atlantic ocean. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. The staff couldn’t have been better.

Beautiful surroundings. Good food. Service a bit slow, but it's pandemic time, so ill leave it to that.
I would definitely recommend to friends.

The worst part was the customer service... let’s start off with when we asked for water we also asked for lemons and after 3 requests she responded with “I heard you” (when she finally got around to bringing them she slammed them on the table and walked away). Then when we asked for lattes the waitress felt the need to explain that if we ordered lattes she would have to go to a completely different area of the restaurant to have them made (then only delivered 3 of 4 and had to be questioned at least three times about the status of the 4th). Overall, she was just very dismissive. Of the 4 entrees ordered 1 was requested with a side of extra extra crispy bacon that was not delivered, when addressed, she responded “I told them extra crispy” we politely responded that if they could be extra crispy we would like to send it back and taken off the check; her response was “ok, send it back” left the soggy bacon on the table and walked away... after we were all practically finished with our meal she returned with a plate of cold crispy bacon and pretty much dropped it in the middle of table and walked away, never saying that at she was going to request a new order. All in all she was NOT a happy camper and that was clearly displayed by her unacceptable customer service and demeanor.

Of all the meals had during our 4 day stay at Gurney’s Resort and Spa this was by far the worst.

Got the lobster roll and cheeseburger - both mediocre. Service was excellent and ambiance was nice but I find Gurneys to be overrated and overpriced 🤷‍♀️

Food was good! My husband and I went for breakfast on our mini-moon. I ordered an omelette which came tater tots. He ordered scrambled eggs with toast. The view was amazing. We had a table on the terrace overlooking the ocean. The service however, was not the best. We waited about 45 minutes for our breakfast food and then another 20 minutes after we requested the check.

Very disorganized, everyone starting with the hostess ending with the server were confused like they literally started that morning. Server was horrible, like she never took an order, food was mediocre. So happy we were only there for lunch and not staying there so we didn’t have to eat there for every meal

Beautiful atmosphere

Tillie's was amazing! We went on a Friday during COVID and they took care to give the customers space between booths. We were spaced well, the menus were QR codes you can see on your phone. The service and food were impeccable! It was our first time there and we were blown away. If you are in Montauk I strongly suggest you put Tillie's on your list of places to eat!

Tillie’s was excellent. I was in Montauk for a mother & daughter day . Tillie’s was our lunch stop. I had the chicken sandwich but I opted for the chicken to be grilled, the chef did an awesome job. Service was excellent. The restaurant was empty but that is expected in Montauk off season.

Lovely winter lunch spot in Montauk. Food and service were excellent. We had the lobster roll and Caesar salad with shrimp for lunch followed by the lemon ricotta pancakes for dessert and the fresh juices were great also. Not cheap but great food, service, ambiance with those beautiful ocean views!

Our waitress screwed up and we sat for an hour waiting for food, after which we were offered lame excuses for the delay HOWEVER - Jillian, the manager, did everything in her power to make us happy, and we left satisfied. Word to the wise - if your food hasn't shown up in a reasonable time you need to get up and ask someone or your time will be wasted

Good place as always, good food. Service was unfortunately really bad, I heard multiple tables complaining. Maybe they were a bit overwhelmed. Our server disappeared multiple times for a long duration of time,

My fiancé and I experienced and enjoyed an awesome time for lunch. Great atmosphere and the staff was very attentive and friendly. We were specially please with this hostess Julianne. Will be back again!

I’ve dined at Tillies twice and both times I was disappointed. The food is always fabulous but the service is terrible. We went there for Sunday brunch and a family had three kids running( I mean racing fast) around the restaurant and no manager or server said a thing to them, it was extremely rude. We waited at least 20 min to even get served water, And the food took forever to come out. By the time we got our food, we were ready to leave. I tried to give Tillies a second chance but I will not be returning.

Amazing Mother's Day breakfast ! So happy to have spent it with that beautiful view and other families with small children.

Fantastic service, seriously overpriced food (especially for their brunch buffet) and especially considering no alcohol is included. Gorgeous view, however. Would be interested in trying their regular dinner menu.

Fantastic environment and views. Amazing service, simple menu but delicious. Maybe a bit more expensive than expected, but worth it for the location.

Stopped in for brunch and had amazing Ginger Margaritas to start. Meals were delicious and fresh- avocado toast delicious and ricotta pancakes perfectly flavored. Tuna poke fresh and light and juicy burgers!! Great service and views - will be back!

Loved every moment! The staff is unbelievably friendly, from the bartenders, to the hostess, servers, valet, and front desk. No matter whom we spoke to, they were incredibly friendly and helpful!

Nice place to enjoy a meal. Note that the prices on line menu are not what you find in the restaurant. The lobster roll listed at $25 is $35. The lobster crab cakes at $26 is actually one cake. But the food was good and the view of the ocean spectacular.

Amazing dinner for our special occasion. We love coming back here over and over again whenever we are at Montauk. We get treated very nicely and the staff is amazing. The food is excellent. My favorite is always the duck and foie gras ravioli. This time we were unable to stay at Gurneys because we only had 3 days off, but love coming back for Tillies brunch and the bar by the restaurant. Thank you.

We were there for brunch buffet, which was very good. Large selection of food - all very good. Server slow to respond with drinks.

Food was sent back. Every single table around us, which was 5 in total, had problems with their food and either sent it back, didn’t get something, or ended up requesting to speak with a manager. Terrible food and service and it was a weekday lunch with no crowd.

Went here for Sunday brunch. The place is very nice, waterfront area that was perfect for the sunny day. However, we waited approximately 30 minutes just for our drinks to come and over an hour for our food to arrive after we ordered it. We had to track down servers to find out where our food was, as tables that came after us were getting served before us. When my friends food arrived, it was freezing cold. For the price we paid for brunch, it was disappointing to have that kind of service and have to eat cold food.

The food is good and the service reasonable, but the perch above sandy beach and the magnificent Atlantic surf is what makes this a sensational summer afternoon lunch spot. Worth every penny.

Tillie's is a great place to enjoy lunch outdoors with friends, on the ocean at Gurney's Inn. My Gluten Free Cobb Salad was one of the best I had. Delicious, fresh and plentiful, perfect for a summer afternoon. Everyone else enjoyed their salads, seafood dish, sandwich and sweet potato fries. The service was excellent and very accomodating when needed!! Our waiter understood my Gluten issue and made sure my salad was prepared correctly. He also addressed any other special requests from our group. Can't wait to return!
