This was our first time back at the restaurant since 2019. It has a beautiful layout in a great location. Our server was in her first week of work, but she did a great job - very energetic and personable. She made our visit extra pleasant. All of our dishes were very good. I like how they identify the country/region of origin for each of the menu options.

All four of us really enjoyed our appetizers and dinners. It was our first visit and we will be back.

We had the Meze plate and the whip goat cheese as an app. The Lobster Pappardelle and the Dry aged steak as our mains. We shared the chocolate Mouse for dessert. We enjoyed everything once again.

Food was very poor. And ‘“chef” was not cooperative when complaints were made. I ordered a medium rare steak, which came close to medium well and smothered with pepper. He argued with me that it was medium rare. The description of how the stake would be prepared did not include any pepper at all. . ‘Chef”offered to prepare another one. At this point, I had no confidence in him so didn’t want to be further bothered. To my taste, it was inedible and I did not eat it. . I asked for him to drop the charges and he did. It was a very unpleasant experience. There was no one else in the restaurant except us on a Friday night at 6:30 PM,so I am imagining that other people have had equally bad experiences. I highly recommend that you avoid it.

Excellent food and a delightfully surprising variety. Beautiful facility, service with just the right amount of attention. We love Tiqa!

We’ve been coming here annually for many many years during family trips in the area. This year will unfortunately be our last. Not sure what happened but there was one server and the chef had to help take orders. A table from a party before us never got cleared. A family member had called ahead about food sensitivities and discussed with the chef in-person as well, but was still served food with seasoning. It’s like he doesn’t know how to follow through- I saw other similar comments in here (unfortunately seeing those after we went). The waitress seemed like she was trying to keep it together but it was pretty awkward. We would have left but trying to find a place to accommodate 11 people last minute is probably more of a nightmare. Alas, Tiqa has fallen off our Maine restaurant list.

Terrible handling allergies despite having called the restaurant prior to the day of dining to make sure the venue would work for our diners. The food was very slow to arrive. Some in our party did not get what they ordered and the staff was not accommodating about it. They actually asked if we could just eat what they cooked. We do not recommend this restaurant.
