Tommy V's Urban Kitchen

This may not be a fair review as it was only outdoor dining. The restaurant was nice. The menu is paired down during this time so what I thought I would order, I was not able to. Both my husband and I had pasta dishes which were excellent. We got there at 5 PM which was a little early and I don’t think they were staffed correctly at that time. It took quite a while to get our meals andIt seems like there was only one Waiter until about 5:45. He was definitely very busy.

Oh no I thought the experience was very good the food was outstanding.

There were five of us outside, heaters going and socially spaced. Everyone enjoyed their meals, burger, lasagna and pizza were three meals and Caesar salads. Cocktails were good also!

Very good service, food is delicious. Francisco is the best hose ever.

The food is consistently tasty and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Good food and nice outdoor patio!

I have been dining here ever since it opened. Great food and not overpriced. It does get pretty noisy inside so I usually try to sit outside in the patio.

Cool place to hang. I felt it was a little dark (we went for dinner) so it was hard for me my older eyes to see the menu. Overall, it was a cool place to go. Food and service were also good.

Dinner for four...asked to be seated outside with heater.
Woulda been nice if they mentioned an inside restaurant buyout complete with shirtless men doing Hawaiian war dances and hulagirls...it was so loud we could hear ourselves as they sat us just outside the front door on the sidewalk with no heaters and replete with skateboarders. Did I mention that sidewalk is where the men, sweaty from dancing, came to cool off? So appetizing.
A little more transparency from the reservationist to Open Table woulda been appreciated. As would a little more food. The portions were all quite small compared to when we last ate here...
Overall, not a great evening experience.

Was delicious and great service. We showed up 20 minutes before our reservation and they seated us happily. The food was really good. Everything we had was good. Wine was good for the price point for house selection. I will be back

We enjoyed our first visit and will definitely be back! The server didn't come over for quite a while at first, but we very much enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We are looking forward to sitting at the bar for our next date night!

We ordered the Special which was sea bass. Wow! Excellent! Perfectly prepared and delicious. The lasagna was also great! It was our first time there and really enjoyed it. Highly recommend!

The food didn’t taste freshly made

We had a great experience celebrating with our immediate family at Tommy V’s. We had dietary preferences and restrictions and could easily order off the menu, everyone loved their food, our drinks were great, and our servers were attentive and kind. Thank you!!

Appreciated our server taking great care of us on a busy night. Food was excellent. The outside high-top seating on the edge of the restaurant by the grassy area of the park was the best part, good to have more space and fresh air right now .

We ate here Friday night with good friends. Drinks were ordered and delivered very quickly. Delicious and ice cold martini!! We all ordered different items and everyone thought the food was fantastic. My pasta carbonara was delicious as was the pear and brie flatbread. Service was great with Sonny. Highly recommend for a great neighborhood bistro!

Francisco continues To provide exceptional service every time . We patiently waited for the eggplant which didn’t disappoint. We shared a red blend too. They do have less staff so be patient. So glad to be out and enjoy the outdoor dining. Perfect weather. Even the sunset.

It would be nice to have a few more Gluten Free options. Only one item on the menu was listed as such.

A bit slow to start in getting us menus and water but after that our waiter was very knowledgeable on menu made great recommendations and made us feel welcome, food was amazing 😍

We were expecting a very nice/upscale restaurant but were shocked to see that it resembled more like an Olive Garden. The menu had a tiny variety that was very disappointing and did not even have a choice of any kind of meat. The wine selection was incredibly sparse and the red wine we chose was unavailable. The bottle the waiter offered us as a “special find” was still very expensive and fair at best. The food (eggplant tortino and chicken parmigiana) were less than fair; both being floppy and thrown on the plate haphazardly. My vegetables (that I substituted for the starch) were undercooked and overly crunchy.
All in all we were unhappy with the dinner. The waiter was very nice.

Nice modern decorand tables were far enough apart. Food was delicious. Noise level was a bit loud for my liking. And the waiter was good but seemed a like he had too many tables at the same time. Overall a nice experience.

The food, service and ambiance was great!

Awful service , I will not be back!!! Took over ten minutes for someone to greet us, brought us bread and butter before getting even water or silverware, slammed our water on the table , my water glass came with someone else’s lipstick on it so they took it and never brought another one until after our food came out, also didn’t get my glass of wine until I was almost done with my food , and it was the wrong wine, I had ordered a red and they brought white , and when I said something the waiter was rude about it . The food was great but because of the service we won’t be back!!!

I celebrated my birthday with friends, and it was the perfect location for my gathering!

The martinis were fantastic and the fettuccine carbonara was AMAZING. We will be back!

This place never disappoints on food or service. I’m always happy to see Sonny—he has been there forever and is an outstanding waiter. They really try their very best to make sure everything is to your liking and if it isn’t, they will make it right. Bravo!

Love this place!! It is not fancy but the food is excellent. I love the apple brie bruschetta, try it with some filet on top. The pasta is terrific, too.The outside dining is quite pleasant.

It was very enjoyable even with a limited menue. Eating outdoors made the evening.

We went for our anniversary dinner. The service was so so, food was good.

Stopped for dinner during our trip to California. Friendly staff and fast service.

To start, we made a reservation for 6, and they gave us a table for 4 and we had to steal chairs from inside tables not being used. No one enjoyed their food. We had been to this restaurant plenty of times before COVID and it was great. This time, the food was meh. No flavor. My chicken parmigiana was rubbery and hard to swallow. No one finished their food nor even wanted to take it home. The best part of the meal was the appetizer. Thank god we ordered the meatballs because that was the only thing we all enjoyed to eat. Total bummer experience.

Outside dining due to pandemic. Service was good and food was outstanding. Heaters were provided for the cool evening breeze. Our reservations were for 7:30, so the later evening ambience was quiet overall. Overall very enjoyable experience during these unique times.

We had a lovely dinner outside. Their patio was full so we were sat at the tables on the sidewalk with a view of parked cars but it didn't matter because the service was excellent and the food was too.

Nice outdoor dining.

Great night and great dinner outside. The patio has lights and pretty Park views. Francisco and his son took good care of us. The food and service were perfect! Be patient smaller staff means you need to set your expectations accordingly. Everyone at our table was pleased with what we got. Chicken Marsala and eggplant were excellent.

We had the rigatoni with meatballs and clam linguine. Both were delicious and fresh! The bread was so good right out of the oven!

Wonderful food and delicious cocktails and wine. It’s always one of our favorite places!

We checked in for our reservation, but after waiting over 30 minutes (and learning it would be a while longer) we gave up...especially since most of the other people also waiting for their reservations were not social distancing -14 strangers clustered around the entrance-and few wore masks, and the server that came out to take their drink orders didn’t have his mask over his nose.
We went across the street and were immediately seated and had a relaxing dinner and were probably done before our table was ready!
What a mess and a shame- it’s a neighborhood hangout for me, but the first time for my partner and he never wants to go back.

Continue to serve fabulous food and at a very fair price.
