Top of the World Restaurant - The STRAT Hotel & Casino
Walking into the restaurant was breath taking.. The view was amazing!.. I was very pleased with the food. The lighting was dark. But Im sure it was set up so that you can enjoy the lights of the City.. This was a girls trip for my birthday..Im looking forward to going back with my Husband.
Definitely worth the view at night! Definitely recommend the outdoor deck too!
Loved everything about it and it put a smile on my wife face.
Amazing setting, great service and really good food in a unique location.
My group of 10 loved the view and atmosphere. However the food was not the best. We were not a fan of the lobster n Mac (bland) and potato was not seasoned good and lukewarm. The steaks were delicious and the drinks were very good. We would visit again!
Everyone inside was worried about getting laid off and the Coronavirus. Maybe under different circumstances it would be a great experience. However the view was amazing. I understand everyone’s concern of the Coronavirus. I hope everyone Gets through this difficult times. I would give the Top of the World another chance in the future.
This was by far the best experience I've had when dining out. Definitely a mist see while in Vegas!
Best place to go for great food and a great experience!
This was our first time at Top of the World we will definitely go back. Everything was amazing from the staff to the food and the views were truly beautiful.
An absolutely amazing dining experience, our server Daliah was incredible, very attentive, great conversationalist and made our night that much more enjoyable.
Amazing views!! In 80 minutes you get to see all of Las Vegas. Great food!
Our waitress was amazing. But the whole experience at the restaurant was awful. I expect more from a place I paid $200 for. We requested a window and they said it’s not guaranteed which I understand but the hostess came back and said that our table was ready which we assumed it was what we asked for but no it was not. She didn’t even gave us the option to wait at the bar until it was ready they just rushed us and sat us. It was my husband’s birthday and I didn’t want to ruin our night but I was so upset. The staffs other than our waitress are so rude and give you dirty looks. Do not spend your money there. If you want the view just go to the bar upstairs or the observation deck after enjoying dinner at a different property. They literally suck, am telling you. They don’t have anything besides the view, I should have believed the reviews I read before going there.
The food was amazing and the atmosphere was great! Service was friendly but a little slow. Once we finished our meal we waited a good 30 minutes for dessert. The whole time for lunch was about 2 hours and there weren’t many tables other than us. That would be my only complaint. Other than that it was excellent!
The food is AMAZING!
Fabulous place to eat with excellent service and of course that unbeatable view. We had the 4 course menu for $106 which was great value. Let down slightly by our steaks being a little dry, but that wouldn't stop us going back
Service and food were outstanding. The view from our table was great, we had a booth and were able to see without turning our heads. Could not have been a better evening.
I would think never thing is top of the line ! Steak is absolutely amazing !
On the way up in the elevator, many people were crammed in and the person operating the elevator was coughing continously ... lovely to experience this in the middle of COVID-19.
I have made a last minute reservation at around 3:58pm for 4:15pm, arrived at 4:01pm. There were 3 tables occupied and 8 waiters. Hostess gave us an attitude and told us to just sit and wait. At 4:10pm I approached the hostess again and she told me that we will get seated at 4:15pm. (She intentionally made us wait for absolutely no reason).
The african-american lady who was walking us to our table simply ran ahead, at no point did she walk with us. It was embarrassing.
Service was absolutely mediocre and SLOW (took them 21 minutes to bring out the 2 cocktails we have ordered with again 3 other tables occupied), the food was plain and tasteless. The view is great but I would urge you to pick a nicer place. If you want the view, just go up to the observatory deck and get a cocktail/sandwich there for 1/5th of the price.
On a personal note, I don't know how a restaurant can afford to give people attitude (which was absolutely unwarranted) while in the middle of COVID-19, restaurants and many places are forced to close down. I have dined here 4-5 times in the past but I am not coming back anymore... if this place is also forced to close down I sure won't feel sorry for them.
I had another reservation with them 3 days later which I have already cancelled. Not making the same mistake twice!
Dinner was great however I'd recommend turning the music down a few notches.
After waiting for over half-hour past my scheduled reservation time, I was given a table close to the serving area while there were a couple of empty ones by the window. I asked the hostess to be seated in one of those tables and she advised me that it could be up to an hour additional wait time. Thankfully it was within 10 minutes for us to be re-seated. The server/waitress came to our table and as soon as we told her that we found the restaurant on Groupon and that we had 2 vouchers, she immediately started clearing the glassware and some of our utensils off the table and switched the menu while rushing to explain that sometimes the voucher can take up to 3 hours to be finalized - all the while rushing thru the menu of options for us to decide what we wanted. I felt so rushed and flustered that I asked her to return with the regular menu and ordered from that one instead of using my Groupon- however she did not replace the glassware or the extra utensils that she took from our table. I was never offered water or any beverage because my glassware was never returned for me to order anything to drink (thank goodness I had brought my drink from the bar area with me). However, when that became empty, I was never offered any water or possibly another drink for my thirst. I was very disappointed in the quality of the food as well as the service we received, the server was unkind and very impersonal.
Taste of food was just ok. Lobster bisque wasn’t even warm.
Value was really good but it was actually so much food, we had to waste. (We opted for the 4 course for $106 per person)
Steaks were cooked amazing, but everything else was just ok.
Our server was absolutely amazing! I wish I had a name to praise him, but I don’t remember.
Music level was way too loud! It was hard to carry a conversation.
The view was the best!
Amazing view with fantastic seat served by immaculate waiters and incredible food! An amazing night. You pay for it but it’s unlike any other dining experience! Wow!!
Our waiter Ike was very attentive, couldn't fault the service. The food was lovely and I loved that he sung me happy birthday when he brought out my desert
So the view is amazing but you cant always get a window seat. I said but its my birthday (it was) and he said so is the other 150 people here. (dumb response) Food is sub par, but the view overtakes the meal so was worth it. Steak sucked. Ceaser Salad was excellent shrimp cocktail eh.. It spins as you eat so you do get to see the whole city. Since we were a party of 2 they literally stuck me next to the bussers station wasnt so pleasant but i was in a rush so i dealt with it. I wouldn't go back but did appreciate the views.
Food is good.
View is unbeatable.
It's worth the extra cost to enjoy this view and experience.
Everything was just beautiful, I will be back😊
First trip to Vegas!
Birthday dinner. Food was very good with the exception of the Creme Brûlée.
Waitress was delightful. We enjoyed the view. A bit of a long wait for the elevator.
Awesome place for a romantic dinner overlooking Vegas as the sunsets
Incredible food, best views, fun trying to find your table after you go to the restroom.
loved every minute of it.
Celebrated my boyfriends birthday and the service, food and views were all worth it! Favorite restaurant and experience!
We were quickly sat next to the windows and all I can say is WOW! What a view! The food was really good as well. We all had a variation of steak and all of them were cooked perfectly. The sides are family style-ish. We could not get enough of the cream corn brûlée and the lobster mac’n cheese (definitely recommend both).
Our server was Joel and he was amazing! Extremely attentive, personable, and very helpful in answering questions we had. If you’re going, I would request his section if he is available.
Everything was delicious and exquisite
Food was cold and small amount of food and expensive. The view was lovely though, guess that made up for it.
Our experience was great. What a great atmosphere and good service and food.
paying for the view not the food, pork chop was too dry, baked potato dry too.
Good was average for the price, but great place and amazing view
A very nice experience, 2nd time we went there, last time being about 25 years ago. The food was great, the service was great! Very different perspective, having dinner and watching the city go by, hard to tell you are moving.
Great food, great service, and a phenomenal view. They treated us first class. Awesome experience.
