Incredible service today at True Foods!! We had a party of so many people which tough to accommodate but there has been an amazing staff at Fashion Valley in San Diego that duke took care of us!!! Highly recommended this place!! Flying colors guys!!!

Lunch on the patio was calming and delicious. I felt very safe.

Great service from our server Tammy. She was extremely helpful with your new ordering process. The Manager, Joyce Kim went above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect.

Our food (starters: brussels sprouts and cauliflower; then chicken lasagne and grain bowls with yams, portobellos, onions and edamame and a shared sweet potato pie for dessert) were GREAT. Service was good and we felt very safe outdoors at a distance from others. All in all, a great lunch!

After my introduction to True Food last June, it has become one of my ‘go-to’ restaurants. Our experience last Wednesday was not totally flawless, but it was good enough that we’ll keep coming.

The food was terrible! I have enjoyed this restaurant on countless occasions but this time every dish we tried was bland and seasoned poorly. We ordered 3 appetizers, 4 entree’s and dessert. Everything except the pizza very bad. The staff would not pick up the plates even when serving our dessert. Our table was full of dirty dishes and I had to ask multiple times for someone to remove them. I don’t think I’ll go back again.

A lovely meal on a shady patio, nicely spaced apart. The service was flawless and the food was delicious! Especially flavorful hummus and fresh salmon, cooked perfectly, finished with the decadent flourless chocolate cake. Yum!

Our waiter was friendly and engaging. He was good at giving us suggestions and took care of our special requests. Service was fast, but no rushed. Seating outside kept customers far away from each other and staff cleaned and sanitized after each seating.

It was nice to get out in the open air and the food and service was good.

We usually go to the one located in UTC but this time came to Fashion Valley area. I order shrimp tacos usually and this time it was made poorly. The side salad didn’t even have taste and that’s usually my favorite. My husbands burger was cold when we got it and it was reheated. Overall food was a disappointment. I’ll be going back to UTC moving forward.

They put onions in a dish we ordered even after requesting no onions due to allergies. Everything was good.

I have always loved the ambience, the taste and appearance of the food. The only disappointment is how cold the hot food is always served. The things that should be served hot I always receive tepid or cold. I have noticed there are no heat lamps on your hotline. It is really unfortunate since your food looks and is flavored very well. There has never been a dish that I have received that has been hot.

Servers were great and very attentive. Food was amazing and took no time to get to us.

Great covered patio seating in outside perimeter of Fashion Valley Mall. Parking close by and easy access to the stores. Didn't like that the paper menus did not have prices shown. It was a little pricey, but food and service very good.

Great experience during Covid. Felt safe, tables spaced well, etc. Jordan, the bartender, personally brought my drink out and it was so well crafted that I had to get his name for future visits! Sarah the visiting AGM was a delight, too! She added to the fun and positive vibe of the place. It’s really cool she stopped by to check on our well being and enjoyment. Loved that! Michelle our server didn’t miss a beat either. Great personality and service. So thanks TFK for a great experience. We will be back! Btw, the hummus app is ridiculously good!
