Busy Saturday night, out for a quick bite.. food & service were great, kitchen was very accommodating for minor alterations to our dishes.. would go back again!

Delicious burger, friendly service and love decor, particularly the wall art

40 minutes before meal arrived. I had the special steak and surf. The steak although cut well was hard to chew. The prawns 2 each could have made it into the shrimp family. Not our usual experience at the Vault. David Hill

Overall the restaurant was good. The menu was very limited. My tacos were on the salty side and had portions that were really spicy. Otherwise it was good. My husband's steak was ok. Since our outing was during Covid, the experience was still nice and the restaurant has all protocols and cleaning in place.

Food and service was excellent as always. First visit since COVid and was impressed with safety protocols - will be returning. Did miss the live music.

Fantastic service and atmosphere. We had the calamari to start. I had the Braised Beef and my girlfriend had the Squash Brie Wellington (vegan) and they were delicious. Great value for the portion, nothing pretentious, good food and excellent service. Will be back again.

We had reservations and were immediately met at the door by a very friendly host. With COVID I felt very comfortable with the service and the set up.

The food was great. Love the atmosphere. Hubby and I try to go there at least once a year.

We went to The Vault for my husbands birthday in mid January. We enjoyed the ambiance and felt very safe distance from other diners. Best part is we weren't rushed through our meal - we enjoyed the mussles as an appie and I had the salmon and my hubby had the lamb. All very much enjoyed with a nice glass of white wine.

I have been coming to the Vault for many years. I was very pleased with the food, ambiance and service. Thank you to the Chefs.

The Vault's service and food presentation is always top notch. We love the quaintness of the property and the history is fun too.

I love the aesthetic of this place. The food is only ok though - Our group had 3 different dishes and none of us could rave about what we ordered. The service was ok but again not outstanding.

We went in for the gigantic Yorkshire pudding & Prime rib special. We were sitting in our PJ and I got the email special. The next hour we were walking into the Vault! We were the only people in the restaurant when we arrived and were happy about that.... I can’t eat onions and it had chives on top but the server returned the meal and it was a new one not too long behind. The server was so friendly ,happy, nice ,apologetic of the mishap and asked us how were doing... The food was so delicious, very generous of their portions. The value of the meal was bang on 🌟 We considered the next day for it too as the special was on for 2 days. Thank you to the Vault for bringing in the New Year Day for us with this an amazing meal & friendly server. YUM!! As we left the people were showing up for some delicious food .... Perfect Day! 🍾🥂

Great restaurant, good food, great service, highly recommend

Three of us went for a New Years Eve dinner. We enjoyed the restaurant and felt they adhered to all Provincial Covid-19 protocols. The waitress was very nice and attentive. If I had some complaints 1) My portion was small (even by a fine dining standard). 2) There was a lot seasoning/salt in everything. From the appetizers to the main dish and it's sides.

I agree with seasoning/salting foods, not saying not to. But, if I'm commenting about salt, it may be a bit much.

I would definitely eat here again and it was nice.

New Year’s Eve

One little error on our part and also the server. We asked for house wine and the server brought us Burrowing Owl Chardonnay - the most expensive wine on the menu. I guess we should have looked at the wine list...

A great place to get a nice meal with good service. Enjoyed our evening in our neighborhood!

It was our regular date night. Although a pleasant enough experience, they seemed to not be prepared for the number of people that apparently showed up unexpectedly. Our waitress was lovely but rushed and didn’t ask us how our food was or if we wanted another drink. Our food was good but not outstanding. I’m not sure the experience was worth the price although the decor was lovely even with the changes made for restrictions. We will go back at some point as we have always liked it in the past but I guess they’re having some challenges with the new restrictions so a little Grace is in order.

We did not enjoy our dinner at all. Food was mediocre at best. There were 3 other tables when we were there and the service was still very slow. Servers sent more time talking to each other at the bar.

Vault is one of our favourite restaurants. I wanted to give them a shout out because they have maintained great service, food and atmosphere throughout this difficult year. We are so grateful for amazing local businesses like Vault (and Hawthorne!). You are a big part of the great community we have in Cloverdale!

Great place right at our doorstep. Not sure what the purpose was in marking our anniversary when nobody knew it at the restaurant. But still a great place to eat

Went for hubby’s birthday. Covid-19 precautions in place. Food was excellent and came out hot. Always a good experience.

We had a wonderful time celebrating a birthday. It was too bad that the birthday discount did not apply to the holiday special menu. The food was very good, although the seafood penne was a bit too spicy. Overall, a good experience.

During these difficult times with Covid it is nice to be able to go to a restaurant where you feel safe and can see that everyone is following the protocols correctly. The food was well presented and was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive
