Took them 2hrs to get our food. We were a family of 4 -when we threatened to walk out the excuse given was it’s hectic in kitchen!!
When the food eventually arrived we had a spicy bit and ordered water which took another 30 min to arrive. I had to walk over to bar to ask for it, where the waiter was more concerned about what was punched not the system than whether the client was choking for water

How badly organised do you have to be for a restaurant to be this awful

Fantastic service and decor. Very comfortable and food was great with generous portions

Open table allowed me to book at table for 11pm. Got to the restaurant and the kitchen was closed as it closes at 1030pm. This is normal timing apparently and not an exception. Ridiculous experience and staff equally ridiculous. Waiter tried to tell me they have no booking on their system for me without even asking my name. Waiters there are psychic apparently? Gave my name and look who popped up on their system. He then ran away in to the kitchen and sent out the “manager” who couldn’t do anything for me without speaking to the General Manager who conveniently wasn’t there. Not a single apology, no consideration for time wasted and no suggestions for how to improve the experience for next time i.e. discounts or free drinks.

Great place to go out with family and friends. Perfect Indian cuisine with lots of variety.

Service wasn't great, food is okay, ambience isn't bad

We had a lovely Christmas lunch the restaurant was very accommodating to our needs for making sure that one of our colleague didn’t get spicy food at all. Merry Christmas and a happy new year from all at tRIIO

Service was horrendous, half hour for drinks, 40 mins for food which turned out to be not what we had ordered! Took 3 of them to work out that they had given us the wrong items and that was after the waiter repeated our order 3 times to us after taking down the order so was baffled why the food served was not what we had ordered. Refused to pay service charges and it took another 3 people to amend the bill to remove a discretionary 10%

We had an excellent meal on Sunday - the food was really tasty and the service was good. They were helpful and the manager was very nice and made us feel welcome.

Initially when we entered, we were shown to iur seats very politely. Regretfully no one showed up with menus or to take our drinks order for a considerable period of time. I had to go and find someone to resolve this matter.

However, after a server showed up to take the drinks order, matters improved radically due Simone looking after us.

Simone was simply magnificent - manners and listening skills were outstanding. She was eager to help and made the overall experience exceptional. So a huge thanks to her.

I discovered this place following a recommendation by a good friend who is a Sikh. It's very popular and is housed in a former pub. The area in front of the original bar is quite noisy with customers and large TVs showing sport. On the two occasions I have visited, the staff have very considerately seated me away from the throng in a slightly quieter area.

I have two general rules of thumb about North Indian restaurants: do they have dahl mukani - made with black lentils? Can they make keema peas, whether or not it is on the menu? The answer to both of these questions is yes. The food is absolutely delicious, a cut above the average high street tandoori. Lovely cold Cobra on draught.

Could they improve? One small detail: I love lime pickle with my poppadoms and they don't have it.

It has now become my go-to for Indian food in and around Harrow.

Restraunt, service and food very nice. Music good but 2hr time slot is too tight.

Have been to Venue 5 once before this visit and the food again was terrific! Starters especially (vegetarian) shine although the veg kofta curry came a very close second. Lovely place, staff both times friendly and charming.

Great quality food, we mixed and matched dishes to share. Very accommodating in making food less spicy. Not offered more drinks after first order so had to catch staff to ask for more

The staff were very accommodating. The manager came over a few times to make sure we were ok. And even moved our table back, so we could have more drinks at the bar. We all had a great night!

We went for our eid dinner and it was fab. Delicious food and the service was great too.

Could not fault the food, service was fine but not as attentive as it could have been given it was nowhere near as busy as in the past. Old mans moans - I would certainly recommend for the excellent food.

Always a personal favourite, Venue 5 is exceptional for any occasion.

Overall a great restaurant with fab food but be careful of the slippy floors as my feet went from under me and ended up in a heap! No alcohol consumed but good job I didn’t have a glass in my hand!

Lovely food as usual; good service; nice atmosphere and great company with my friends whose first visit it was to V5 and they really enjoyed the evening (especially the chilli prawn dish.. highly recommended).

GOOD PLACE AND GOOD FOOD ......VERRY CONVINCE PLACE IN HARROW AREA ....

We booked venue 5 for Mother’s day. I had booked long in advance with special requests for a nice table for 5 people. When we arrived our table wasn’t ready. Once it was, we were let to the back of a the restaurant in a very crowded area smashed between two other large parties. No one came to our table once we were seated and we had to catch someone’s attention to get a drink order. The drinks took about 45 minutes to arrive and during that time we had to ask for our drinks and water and ask if they were going to take our order. By the time we put in our order we had been there an hour. The wait staff was horrible and never came to check on us as we sat with empty drinks. It was another 45 min for our appetizers to arrive, they were decent. Then our food never came.. We almost wanted to cancel and leave because at this point we had been there for over two hours. They had empty tables and although it was Mother’s day there was no good reason for the service to be this poor. When our food came after we inquired how much longer it would be the food was so cold we barely wanted to eat it. We complained to the server saying it must have been sitting back there for awhile and he said it wasn’t his fault it was the kitchens fault and the best thing he could do was reheat it for us. We said no and just got the bill. I wouldn’t recommend!!!

Mother’s Day. Good food but service took ages. We were warned about this but were one of the first in the restaurant. Hopefully just a blip

Food is excellent, ambience is good. Good venue for getting together with friends, girls time out, Bollywood nights..

Despite choosing 'mild' food it was still a little hot for my taste.

We were seated more in the bar area than the restaurant proper where there were a number of loud builder types.
