We had a reservation but we were first told we had to wait for low table. We were also told if we wanted a low table we had to put it in our reservation. Who was to know? The food was good but not spectacular. Had 2 pork chop orders - 1 was nice and tender but the other one was dry. Limited children's menu - verbal not written. Hambuger was good and cooked to specification. Finally had pecan crusted chicken - some parts just crust but most parts chicken was cooked well. Brownie dessert was shared and loved by all. Just only vanilla ice cream.
The food was delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly. The portions were just right. The Service...I simply cannot say enough good things about our server! She was hands down the BEST we have ever had!! We had our children with us-teens and preteen and the environment was friendly for them as well!!We will he back!!
Shrimp and grits were amazing. Service was perfect and nice drink choices. Wine is overpriced considering it comes from 10ft away where you can buy it for half the price
My favorite restaurant on the estate! Looking forward to returning.
Thanksgiving Dinner. The food was outstanding! Traditional thanksgiving turkey, mashed potatoes/gravy, cornbread stuffing, green beans. Excellent. Their breakfast is awesome too!
Thanksgiving was amazing!
We were there for Thanksgiving dinner. We had a long wait for service, but once they figured out who had our table, service improved. Turkey was just ok, salty and a little dry. Mashed potatoes and green beans were good. Stuffing was terrible. It would be great to have had a better dinner on Thanksgiving, but it was just ok.
We enjoyed our dining experience. Our service was slow. Our server was not as attentive as we would have hoped for.
Over priced (which is expected) but no real breakfast options or a kid menu. Strange for a family resort area.
The menu is extremely limited. They only offered one steak which was a Ribeye, which surprised me since that’s a very specific steak.
Service was ok, drinks were often empty and then had to ask for refills. Food was good but not great.
I think it would be great for lunch, but look elsewhere if you’re wanting a nice dinner.
We had a reservation so we were seated quickly. The menu was limited for someone who has allergies and can’t eat red meat, seafood or pork, but I chose a Caesar salad and chicken with ranch dressing instead of caesar dressing - the dressing was homemade and a bit of an unusually heavy taste but good. My friend had the shrimp & grits with the sauce on the side - the sauce was tasty and a good compliment for the cheesy grits.
The Brussel sprouts are delicious - the malt vinaigrette gave the salty Parmesan Brussel sprouts a bit of a tangy taste. We wished we’d ordered 2 orders instead of the herb fries. The mint chocolate chip cookie was super delicious - warm and gooey chocolate heaven on a plate. The vanilla ice cream tasted like vanilla cream instead of ice milk like we experienced at Cedric’s Tavern.
Overall, the staff was friendly and the food came out quick and hot. Highly recommend.
Only complaint was very loud ! The food was amazing
We made advanced reservations for this restaurant. We ate outside and that was nice. Our waitress was attentive as well. The food we had was good but a little pricey. We did expect this since it was the Biltmore. My only issue is there was no kids menu so you do end up paying $14 for chicken tenders and fries that my child didn’t even enjoy. They were dry and he didn’t like the seasonings.
Overall it was a great experience. I had the rib eye and my wife has cheeseburger. The one downside was that I ordered the sangria, noticing that it was a little pricey. I thought that since it was Biltmore I would slurge. I was expecting it in a wine glass and it came to them table in a champagne glass. Too expensive for the amount.
A very good place for casual dining food and service were also very good noise level was a little excessive
Amazing time KT was fantastic and on the ball about everything :)
Nothing like having dinner in the hotel lobby... I would recommend passing and go to the Bistro..
The Village Social at Biltmore Estate was a great experience. I highly recommend making a reservation to avoid a long wait. Great portion sizes and flavor, with excellent recommendations from the staff. All of the staff were pleasant and friendly, making it an enjoyable end to the weekend.
Food wasn’t as hot as I prefer but the food and drinks were very tasty. Our waitress Daphney was very pleasant and helpful!! I hope to return!
Excellent food and service! Calamari and prime rib highly suggested
We had the most wonderful dinner at Village Social. We stopped in earlier in the day to let them know we would be a few minutes late and the host was extremely accommodating and pushed our reservation back 15 minutes. Then our waiter, Daniel, was absolutely wonderful. My husband raved about his cocktail and Daniel brought out the recipe for him. He also gave us local recommendations of where to watch a few games that evening. We were on our honeymoon and Daniel brought out a special dessert just for us! The entire experience was so wonderful and really made our trip to the Biltmore even better.
Such a great dinner! Loved the seafood soup dip choice (forget what it’s called) but it was incredible. I got the Caesar salad which was also delicious!
Waitress was not good. Didn’t check in. Delivered anniversary plate before we ate?? Brussels sprouts not good. Rib eyes was very good but a bit salty. Highlight was the bartender and drinks prior to dinner
Very troubling. Poor enforcement of mask wearing and social distancing.
15+ people singing around a table without masks.
Manager was alerted but seemed clueless.
The staff was very professional and attentive to your needs. The food came out pretty fast and delicious! We even took a dessert back to the room for later. Great experience!!
Food was really good, as were the drinks and service!
Our dinner was amazing! One of the best meals I have ever had.
Food was exceptional and reasonable priced. Menu has been scaled back because of the pandemic, but everything we ordered was thoughtfully prepared. The crab cake is largely crab—no fillers—and tasted very fresh. Don’t miss the house made chips and beer battered Brussels sprouts! I preferred ranch dressing with the sprouts, requested and promptly provided. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Nice experience!
Lobster bisque was pretty delicious! But I wouldn’t recommend the crab cake. Sweet server.
Food was great. Bar lacked tropical fruit for any drinks rum runner, hurricane. Didn't provide any alternatives. Placed in a corner, busy location for dinner
Highly recommend. The BEST She Crab Bisque. Exceptional service!
I think a couple more entree choices would be good. Otherwise it was a good experience.
Picking up wine club distribution at the winery
The appetizers and dessert were delicious, but both of our entrees were overcooked. We didn’t complain because it wasn’t that huge of a deal, but that’s why we gave it four stars.
Food and service were beyond superb. Our waitress went above and beyond
The porkchop entree was outstanding! Biltmore never disappoints.
Everyone was very nice. Typical prices for eating on the resort. Don’t order the shrimp and Grits. My wife’s pork chops were outstanding
Absolute sham! This restaurant should NOT be on open table for the general public to make reservations. This is inside the Biltmore grounds so they charge by the person to enter the gate just to drive to the restaurant. We spent $250 to enter at 5pm to go have a $200+ subpar dinner (grits were gross and the desert was horrible). It's also not in the village - it's directly behind the hotel. So, for someone who is disabled it's horrific to get to.
Hello, First and foremost I wanted to apologize that you had such a trying time to reach our restaurant. We will add additional information to our listing to ensure future guests know that we are located within the Village Hotel in Antler Hill Village. In efforts to ensure clarity, the very first line of our restaurants landing page conveys our location on the Biltmore Estate and the need to have a ticket to the Biltmore Estate to dine in our restaurant. Thank you for your feedback.
Delicious maple salmon entree. I was wonderfully perplexed by the lemon caviar in my blackberry coconut custard dessert. I’ll be dreaming about my meal for a long time!
Delicious food, but over-priced
