A beautiful resort surrounds the restaurant with killer views. We did the chefs tasting menu and it was incredible. The chef came and greeted us with some plates. The elk was outstanding. Service was perfect. Just an all around great experience with food, drinks, ambiance and service. Make reservations days in advance.

The Vue 1913 was incredible. We had a great table next to the window with a view of the mountains. Service and food was amazing! Highly recommend it to anyone.

The lobster was cold, twice. The steak was great. Table was sticky. And they were bordering on rude regarding face coverings. Our waitstaff was great.

Loved everything about this restaurant - great views, great wine, offered delicious meals and accommodated gluten free restrictions without compromising on taste.

Great experience at the Vue, wished it was closer so we could return more often. Our waitress Sandy was great going above and beyond with her service! Her wine recommendations and pairings with the food we ordered were on point! It was our 15th wedding anniversary and we both thought the food and whole experience was great!

Service was great. Food was fair at best although the cheese platter was a highlight. We had a lobster pasta dish that was more like Mac and cheese with overcooked lobster. The dessert was still frozen in the middle. I never write reviews but we felt like we missed an opportunity for a better meal.

Kimberly was helpful in explaining the menu. Food was unique and satisfying.

We went here for our anniversary weekend. When the appetizers came out, we were slightly disappointed, however the entrees were top notch and steak was perfect. We ordered the wagyu tartare, but thought the wagyu didn't rise as the star of the dish. The saffron arinchini was good, but nothing spectacular. However, the filet mignon was perfect with a delicious side of maple glazed Brussel sprouts. My husband also enjoyed the elk tenderloin, which I think was the best place of the night with parsnip puree and he added a side of pork belly. I'd also add the Old Fashioned he ordered was excellent as the bartender did a great job mixing (he orders them everywhere and for him to comment on quality is impressive). Overall great experience

We parked in the garage, it was supposed to be free for the first 3 hours, we left in 2.5 hours and the non attended parking gate charged us $25 :-(

New Year’s Day dinner was wonderful and staff was excellent

I normally would never write a review. However, this meal was one that deserves a review. My husband ordered a medium steak. The steak came out rare and COLD on the inside. They sent it back and it came out again slightly medium mostly rare. He simply could not eat it. My drink was great, it was champagne out a bottle. He ordered a margarita. It was so strong he couldn't drink it. The managers did comp the drinks, greatly appreciated but the two dinners (one note even eaten) still were $300! I should have taken a photo of the steak! I would NOT recommend wasting your money.

We came here for a romantic NYE dinner and were extremely disappointed. The service and view were excellent but the food was not on par with what was advertised. Of the four course fixed menu offered only the first course was good. The second course included a beet salad that was so spicy it was hard to eat. We both got the filet medium rare and they came out totally rare TWICE. The desserts offered were not what had been featured on the menu online. They almost looked like they were leftovers from another event. Next time we want a high end dinner in Asheville we will look somewhere else.

The dinner I had at Vue 1913 is one of the best I've ever had. Our waiter was outstanding, the menu is incredible, and the entire experience was 5-star. The bone-in ribeye and scallops were melt-in-your-mouth delicious, the wine selection was excellent, and the cheese plate we enjoyed (goat cheese, cheddar, and bleu cheese) was incredible.

Enjoyed a quiet meal. Good food, definitely over priced but that’s standard for a hotel restaurant.

Food was not as good as we had in the past. I ordered lobster and it was mushy and without much taste. This was our 23rd anniversary so we were disappointed

Really enjoyed a return visit. Menu structure was simple and straight-forward but still provided a wide variety of meats and seasonal compliments. The cuts were outstanding and expertly prepared. And the desserts were wild and unique. Well done!

Outstanding! I was lucky enough to experience the best cod I’ve ever had. I was nervous about the miso in the description. I’ve had good fishes ruined by drowning in miso. However, the server convinced me there was no broth, so I gave it a go...and OMG!!!!! The fish was fresh, expertly prepared, delicious and gorgeous...service was the best I’ve ever had.

Food was excellent, however, wished there were more options on the prefix menu (only menu available). Service could be a little warmer (efficient but somewhat robotic). View are stunning!

CMas Eve Dinner with Young Adult Daughter. The property was decorated beautifully! Service outstanding. While we love children, we were seated near a small family - so noisy.

Went for our honeymoon. Food was perfect. Server was very friendly and helpful- we thoroughly enjoyed our night.

Vue 1913 is a very romantic spot at the Grove Park Inn. The food and service were great. The wine list is very good. I would highly recommend it for a special occasion!

We both ordered steaks and they were both cooked incorrectly (undercooked). When we told our server, she took the steaks back to the kitchen and they brought the same steaks back to us after putting them on the grill. For the price, I would have thought they would have given us new steaks, especially with COVID. The brussel sprouts were bland and the mashed potatoes tasted like there were instant, and not homemade. The dessert was very good though.
