This me an my daughter first time coming to this restaurant didnt even feel like a Tent very warm they follow all the CDC guideline food came VERY fast . Will be back near future again .
Food Was Delicious, The patio wasnt cold, which was a plus, and our server was great! Overall, Dining experience was great! Definitely recommended!
The outdoor patio was warm and service was great.
Did not feel like we were in a tent at all....very warm & decorated nicely! The parmesan crusted Cod the crabcakes are to die for! Along with French onion soup & crab bisque!
Was a good experience.. but the food was not too good as I expect.
Good, good food and great service.
Cornbread is always great. Same with the salad. I get the Covid seating outside in the tent. I was still cold. That's why only 1 5 star.
I have to admit, it’s strange dinning in a tent in the middle of winter. It was warm in the tent & Wild Fire did an excellent job to make sure we were comfortable. It was so nice to dine out!
Alittle chilly in the tent
From the cornbread to the crab cakes, to my Ceaser salad, to my brown sugar and soy salmon with potatoes au-gratin, my several Stormy Nights(😊🍸), ending with the Keylime pie. You WILL NOT be disappointed in your dining experience.
No comment @ this time
The food and drink were great per usual but the service could have been better.
Great everything for the space available I was overall pleased
I was a little concerned it would be cold in the tent. I was pleasantly surprised that it was quite cozy. Service is always good and the food was excellent.
Good service. Food are great. We are very happy especially to celebrate the new year night.
At least they're trying with the tent seating but the ambience of the closed restaurant is part of the package. Service was excellent, drinks were very good. Onion soup was as good as ever. My filet was cooked perfectly (MedRare) and was tasty and tender. The au gratin potatoes were partially under-cooked, so not so good. Wife's Parmesan Cod was very good, We split a key lime pie with ice cream, nice dessert.
I long for the day we can sit inside again.
Wonderful as always!
The outdoor dining was warm and very enjoyable. It was one of the coldest days and we were almost going to cancel our reservation- we are so glad we didn’t. The food was great and so was our server. We will definitely be back again.
Wildfire is one of our favorite restaurants and it’s also the place that we had our first serious date. We try to go as much as we can. Despite the chill outside the service did not disappoint. It was a cold day out and I almost wore my mink jacket. We thought it might be cold sitting outside in the tent. It was not bad at all; a slight chill in the air is all we felt. We were excited that we happened upon 1/2 price wine bottle night and Dr. Craddock enjoyed his Malbec tremendously. We’ll definitely be back!
Great service and outdoor dining experience!
My son and his gf dined “outside” on a very chilly Christmas Eve. The “outdoor” dining experience was literally no different than dining inside the actual restaurant, everything was perfect, as usual! We were really apprehensive about dining “outside” and almost cancelled our reservation, since it was so cold outside! We were so happy we decided to honor our reservation! The the tented “outside” dining was warm, & we dined with our coats off the entire 90 minutes! I honestly don’t know the difference between dining “outside,” vs. being inside since we dined inside a tent! Reopen the restaurant and let patrons make the decision themselves between going to dine in, or take out! There is literally no difference between the “outdoor” dining and in restaurant dining! Keep this wonderful staff employed! Keep our restaurants open and give patrons the choice to dine in or take out!
We were seated on time. The service was very pleased. dealing with Covid and only being able to seat people in a tent on the coldest night so far they did a great job. The tent was quite nice.
Amazing! Food was great! Warm in the tent!
I enjoyed the experience and my server was very accommodating. The outdoor experience was unbearable there. We were seated near the door and to my surprise there are no heaters set up. My party was freezing and most patrons were dining in their coats. If you are going to use outdoor or tent dining the heater is an absolute must. I love Wildfire but won't go back there for outdoor dining again
Our group went for lunch after Christmas shopping. I’m grateful we could dine somewhere with these overreaching illegal executive orders our controlling Governor suppresses everyone with. Merry Christmas!
As usual WildFire was great! The ambiance is weird to me; eating in a tent. I do have to say, it was warm & if I ignored the idea of eating in a tent, Wildfire did do a great job making sure we were comfortable. We do plan on having dinner at Wildfire again. Thanks!
Table by the door was freezing. It would have been a lot better if guest went in the permanent door instead of the tent door. The hostess then propped open the door which made it even colder.
The tent Wildfire built in Oak Brook feels safe, cozy and a great solution to a problem the pandemic brings with restaurant dining. The only drawback is that more people than the tent can accommodate, want to dine in it. Wildfire did best by suggesting reservations, since they continue to be swamped with potential diners. As for food and service, it's still spot on and amazing. Great food - fresh and tasty, and the same wonderful service. The chopped salad was delicious as always, as was the French dip and key lime pie. Iced tea glasses and water glasses were continuously filled. Glad to see that this is working well for diners. Hope it's working as well for the restaurant.
This reservation was for my husband’s birthday. We enjoyed the food very much.
Our server was great. The food was good, nothing spectacular. I feel I should mention the old fashioned was quite bad though. However, overall it was a really great dining experience especially during these times.
We were in the tent but it was cold. I have been there several times in the tent but the entrance was partially left open. So glad we were not seated near the door. My only other complaint was that the green beans we had with the Parmesan Crusted Cod were so uncooked you really could not eat them. You could not cut them with the dinner knife we had to ask for a steak knife. It was very disappointing. As many times as we have been to Wildfire, this meal was far from what we normally enjoy.
Anniversary
We are outside in the tent. The temperature was comfortable.
Always good food. Ambiance was limited by tent thanks to covid.
Everything blows when you eat inside outside. Not Wildfires fault.
Everything was fine, but we were somewhat disappointed in the limited menu.
So appreciative of the efforts restaurants are making to adapt to the pandemic. Wildfire is still managing to offer a very nice menu selection and comfortable patio seating for an excellent dining experience
Not to mention the great old fashioned! We'll be back either outside or, God willing, soon, inside
Food is always good here. Service level is consistent. Ambiance was impeded by the tenting in place, but that is no fault of the facility.
We have always loved Wildfire. We didn’t know what to expect with the outdoor tent. It was wonderful! The tent is large, tables are spaced appropriately, service is excellent. The outdoor area is warm and comfor
