Great food. Great service. We were seated next to a table of very loud people. It brought the ambiance score down.
I love Wisteria and have always enjoyed bringing my top customers, however, tonight our server was simply not on top of her game. Left us waiting far too long to place our orders following the apps, forgot to bring a drink, etc. As a general rule, this place is outstanding and would highly recommend. An off night for this particular server made for a less than ideal experience.
I rarely post anything negative here but this is my second visit to what
Took a large group of "out of town" clients. They enjoyed the unique menu items. Food and drinks were excellent. There were ten of us, and service was timely. Our server was very helpful and attentive to our needs. Great Job!!
Food disappoints- sub par / poor value / many other restaurant gems in Atlanta / to waste your $$$ and your time at Wisteria. 🙃🙃🙃
A really Great experience. Service was amazing and the food was awesome.
It was our usual routine, first night of work week in ATL, date night and of course Wisteria. The phrase for tonight is “over the top.” My husband had his usual, lobster bisque that he thoroughly enjoyed. I had the featured Winter salad which was “over the top” and had it been twice as large it could have been my entire meal. My husband had the Southern Stew, a very large portion of shell fish and salmon served with a pice of grilled cornbread. “Over the Top.” I had a second salad of frisée, beets, GA strawberries, mandarins that tasted like they were scented with vanilla, two generous wedges of feta and cornbread croutons. Beyond “over the top.” We also enjoyed a side of Brussel sprouts. The homemade cherry pie done as a variation of the real thing was again “Over the Top.” There are lots of good, great restaurants in ATL. They will pale after tonight’s “Over the Top “ meal at Wisteria. .
Wisteria is consistently a high performing restaurant and did not disappoint.
waiter was wonderful, so attentive. Reservation waiting for us. Had a round table which I love easier to converse when more than four. Easy parking.
Birthday, service was great. Food was extremely bland lack flavor and seasoning
We sat at the bar and Brad was great. He answered questions made suggestions. I think the down side for me was the food. The Arancini with lobster was probably the worst dish of the night. It didn’t have any flavor I was missing the lobster as well. The food didn’t have much of a wow factor on the flavor end of things besides the Mac and cheese. If I had to refer a dish it would be the Mac and cheese. Drinks were good. I don’t think I would come back on my own.
My wife was staying downtown for some training so we decided to eat close-by at Wisteria. We couldn’t stay out late but we will definitely be back when we can take full advantage of more of the menu.
The wine and cocktail list is excellent and the menu has enough variety to keep everyone satisfied. My wife had the beef and veal meatballs with ricotta gnocchi. Superb!
I had the fried chicken with collard greens and mushrooms. The only negative was the herb broth made the bottom piece of crust a little soggy. Otherwise, absolutely delicious! We topped it off with the fried cherry pie a la mode. It was wonderful.
Jessica took great care of us. She was very helpful with suggestions and extremely prompt when needed. I would ask for her by name.
My second time going to Wisteria. I love the atmosphere and the service and food are excellent.
Our server was amazing! Food was delicious.
Beautiful restaurant, incredible service. Interesting southern food. Great dining experience
We were very lucky to have a small table for two by the window. I would request this table with my next reservation. The bar and main part of the restaurant is excessively loud due to lack of acoustics. I also do not like the tight squeezed in tables for two against the wall that make you feel like your having dinner with strangers on both sides of you. Our table in the window was perfect! Our dinner was excellent, the drinks excellent, the bread to die for. Prices are reasonable for the area and the quality of the food. I would definitely love to eat there again. We had the skate wing, which is rare to find, and it was awesome! Only wish I could have finished it. Didn't seem like a dish that would do well left over or reheated, but I missed the rest of it the next day. We also had the pimiento deviled eggs! Oh yes! I'm going to try these at home.
Food was fantastic. We were from out of town and looking for "southern food". The fried chicken, mac and cheese, and "corn pudding" were amazing. Our waitress, Natalie, was so helpful and kind. There wasn't a single think I would change.
Was a very tasty and enjoyable meal....
Great food and service! Love Wisteria!
We went on Valentines Day. Needless to say it was very busy, so it was quite loud. It was still romantic. Food and service was good. My boyfriend said it’s the best beef he’s ever had. I would recommend for a nice date.
When I was trying to pick out a romantic dinner spot for Valentine’s Day, I saw this restaurant on the list as one of the best spots for this occasion. My date and I really enjoyed the food at the restaurant; however, there were some flaws.
1. The service was sub-par. We got to the restaurant around 8:30, and had ordered our appetizers and food 5-10 minutes later. After a little over an hour later, we still hadn’t received our meals. They didn’t even bring the bread out until around the time the food came out, which I thought was weird.
2. There was a couple sitting next to us that got their food way before ours came out, and we had gotten to the restaurant before them, about 10-15 minutes before. I was starting to get super annoyed that they got their food before ours.
It might be a while until I’ll be back at this place. The food quality was good for sure, but I don’t know if it was worth the wait, or the cost for the meal.
We had a 8:15 reservation and arrived on time and immediately seated when our food came out it was obvious that our food sat out in the kitchen and was brought out cold we were not satisfied at all
Great experience. Very cozy date night
BEST IN CITY!
Wine is expensive here (as it is everywhere). Food, service and ambiance continue to be first rate.
Absolutely wonderful! Service was incredible. Our waitress was perfectly attentive but gave us a lot of time to be on our own. The food was incredible. The atmosphere was amazing. Truly a great experience
Not conducive to intimate conversation when the restaurant is full, but still fun.
Great food and service. It was very loud though.
Phenomenal. This is for a business dinner, but I will be definitely taking my girlfriend here for a date. I know she’ll love it. Tons of positive energy fills the room!
My wife and I were very pleased when we walked into Wisteria. Lots of people seeming to be having a good time and we were seated in a nook area by a window. Very nice. We ordered and had two very different experiences.
My wife ordered beautiful mussels in a delicious broth appetizer and then a very meaty lamb shank. She would rate Wisteria far better than I. I ordered flash dried oysters for an appetizer. "FLASH" is a key word here. The very few small oysters I received buried under veggies were obliterated to the point of being tasteless and barely identifiable. My entree was the "Low Country Boil" which sounded wonderful. But, once again I was very disappointed. Again, under a veggie pile, I found clams, mussels, a hunk of salmon all of which were fine. But I expected more ... like maybe "Low Country" shrimp. I found a few tiny creatures (size of a nickel) which I presumed were the smallest shrimp I'd ever seen. That was unfortunate. when the server came to take my plate I showed him these wee animals and he advised me they were crawfish and the menu did not list shrimp. Fair enough. Nevertheless, if they are crawfish I would expect them to be large and meaty enough for me to recognize the species.
Very fairly and to their credit Wisteria did not charge me for my unexciting entree. I accepted because I'd driven in from the burbs to a fine Atlanta restaurant and wished I hadn't. I'd much prefer to pay full price for an enjoyable meal because that's why I go to nice restaurants.
This neighborhood gem is always consistent. Excellent food, service and ambiance!
Great food. Gt
Not sure what happened. Have always heard great things and the reviews online were excellent. Food was awful..first time actually sent back because we couldn’t eat it. Even the service was like I can smell it. Seasoning was horrible and food was cold. Sent soup back to heat up from the beginning. Catfish was horrible. They immediately swapped out fish out for a steak but even it was ok and the Mac and cheese side was cold. I just ate the steak and left the Mac and cheese on the plate. At this point I was ready to go. Definitely not worth the 300 we spend. Thankful the wine was good. Server was awesome. At the end he offered a glass of wine on the house but we were like it’s all good. Hope they were just having an off night. The restaurant is really cute and love the area.
Never disappoints! The staff is wonderful, remembering me although I come into town only about twice a year. Food is always delectable. Drinks are adventurous and delightful!
Wonderful selection of standard southern fare. Great service. Excellent food.
I’ve enjoyed Wisteria for many years now, but they went through a period of inconsistent food quality a few months ago. It seems everything has returned to normal. Excellent service on a busy night: we were greeted and seated right away, received prompt friendly attention and excellent bar service. Ordered the deviled eggs and calamari appetizers. Eggs were very tasty, but the cornmeal batter on the calamari want to the liking of one “traditionalist” guest. The table ordered the fish special, the meatballs, shrimp & grits and the old standby fried chicken. The fish special and fried chicken were excellent. The meatballs didn’t thrill the person who ordered it, but I thought it was good. The shrimp and grits have always been too liquidy for me, and they were liquidy this night as well. In my opinion you shouldn’t need a soup spoon to eat shrimp and grits - but that’s my opinion. The flavors were very good, despite the soupyness.
Overall, I am happy to say I think that Wisteria is back on track.
It was our first visit to Wisteria and definitely plan on going back! Love their southern savvy dishes and drinks. I recommend the almond crusted Georgia trout!
We had a group of 10 dine here on a Wednesday night and the food was absolutely incredible! It’s was decently busy but service was on point. The Chef/Owner even came to visit with our table! We were a group from Boston looking for some
authentic southern food and this checked all the boxes. AMAZING!
