As usual the food and service were excellent. We have made Xoc our weekly date night spot. Go check for yourself.
Good food, good service. However, if you want cheap Mexican food, you should go to Salsa and Beer.
Go to spot for a good relaxing meal. Drinks are good and food is tasty too!
Wonderful experi ence and I would go back definitely
Great tequila bar with some fantastic vegetarian food.
Enjoy a nice valentine date with great music and delicious food . Fast and friendly service .
I came for lunch with my elderly father. The temperature outside was about 58°, the temperature inside was the same. Very cold and uncomfortable. Not sure why they didn’t turn on the heater but it wrecked my lunch
Drinks and food were great. Service was exceptional. Thank you.
Ordered the tacos and assumed they were full sized tacos.... they were good, but very small street style tacos that were like an appetizer. For that, i found it expensive.
Good Mexican Food, great service. If you want cheap Mexican food, however, go elsewhere.
Food was extremely overpriced. Margaritas were expensive, small and mostly ice. Refried beans looked anemic and gray, rice was bland, cheese enchiladas were doughy and there was just a drizzle of sour cream. It was over $135 for 4 people and once person had an appetizer rather than a full meal. One person had water, another a soft drink and another only one bottled beer. The last person had 2 margaritas but would have only ordered one if it was a decent size. We went to this restaurant because of the good reviews but the food would have been more enjoyable if we had eaten at a fast food restaurant. We will never eat there again.
My skirt steak tacos were very good. Not a bad price at 16.99; there were no toppings like grilled onions or pico de gallo offered, only pickeled jalapenos were, and some kind of salsa that I couldn't identify. After the fact, though, they didn't need them. Tacos were great. My guest had a fish (mahi-mahi, lemon butter), which was just OK. A little overdone, but not so much that we had to send it back. Tuna tartare appetizer was sensational.
Only 2 servers could we see on the floor, and it took a while to get attended to.
The setup's not great; carts pushing tableside guacamole on a tile floor making noise and getting perilously close to the back of my chair. And many tables have an unsightly view of the kitchen. Should put another set of double doors there, and see if they can get more ambiance infused into the place.
Good food, good service. If you want cheap Mexican, go to Salsa and Beer. But for good food and good service, XOC Tequila is great! I like to be on the patio, because the inside is a bit noisy.
We really enjoy this restaurant and go just about every Saturday!
Food is very good, service is excellent. This is more “upscale” Mexican Food (with great tequila menu). If you want cheap, go to Salsa and Beer.
The food was good, but the service was slow. I think one of the managers brought over our drinks because our waitress was sooo busy. Then, our entrees came before my boyfriend's salad. I think they are understaffed.
food and atention excellent like other times the i decide to eat at Xoc
XOC always provides a good meal. The only hiccup was my wife's salad in the cheddar bowl was about 1/4 of the size it had been in the past. I had three tacos, rice/beans, and they were delicious and adequately filling.
I find it noisy due to lots of hard surfaces inside, but the patio is much quieter.
Food and service were great, as usual!
The server was good. When I asked for a milder salsa he brought pick de gallo which was very nice of him. The decor is nice, the seating uncomfortable, the portions are small for the price, and the food was just so-so. The Cadillac margarita was delicious, but pretty small for the price. Over all, underwhelmed.
The food was delicious and our server Kevin was efficient, funny and pleasant guy.
Staple of our to go to restaurants-love their mole- great table side guacamole. Staff is amazing-
It's hard to order when it's very difficult to understand your waiter, as a result orders get messed up, and they did.
Buffet server couldn't understand my wife's question, "do you have veggie tacos?", She answered "no", so my wife did not have tacos; of course you do!!! If you want to lose customers keep hiring people with poor or no language skills, the above is couple outcomes.
Really good food, service and ambiance!! It’s a different kind of Mexican food!
Enjoyed food, drink, and service !
Good food, nice spot.
Great food, great service, a little noisy, if you want cheap and aren’t concerned about quality go to Salsa and Beer, this is good upscale Mexican Food.
Group of six friends/family went to dinner on a Friday night. Our waiter was prompt and friendly. The food came out quickly and was cooked to order. Relaxed atmosphere not in any way rushed.
Great service ! Great food and great environment!!
Service was fantastic as was the food!
The salsa and chips was amazing , the margarita was amazing the appetizer was perfect but we saw hair on our main course and that affected outlet appetite , we told them and they too care of it really quick and they brought us the same food again but we went hungry anymore . So overall o can say it was good but I wish there was mohair in our food that way it was going to be a perfect place to chill .
Good place to meet with friends for happy hour. There was plenty of indoor and patio tables available (on a Wednesday evening). A decent variety of happy hour drinks and food options. Al pastor tacos were the best (beat out veggie, carnitas, and asada).
Love coming here, the drinks and food are great, and it's at the Village which is a fun place to walk around. This time we brought friends who had never been and they were very happy with the food and the service. The Tequila selection, while not extensive, has some great choices including our favorite Riazul Anejo. Happy to recommend it to anyone.
Great! Kevin is a fantastic waiter!
Small portions. Didn't have a feel of a Mexican Restaurant. Service was nice and friendly.
Size of alcoholic drinks were very small and expensive. Stick with beer if you must go there. Would not go back and would not recommend. Many higher quality Mexican restaurants in So. Cal to choose from.
We loved the food, the drinks and the service.
Always our first choice when eating out.
Excellent food, service and wonderful atmosphere!!
