Zizzi - Windsor

Staff were very friendly and attentive. However, pizza and pasta were worse than pre-prepared ones you can buy from a supermarket. Toilet facilities require cleaning and regular checking (the smell was noticeable in the dining room!)

They refused to seat us despite the booking claiming that they are fully booked. they had free tables though.

Great service. They didn’t have our booking when we arrived but it wasn’t a problem even though they were busy. Service throughout was great and the usual good quality / value food from Zizzi. The waiter interacted really well with the kids.

Had a lovely late night bite at Zizzi’s. Quaint restaurant with delicious pizza and warm, friendly service. The server even helped me find an outlet to charge my phone! Wonderful!

A good evening overall. We were seated almost immediately, Initially we were led to a table in the basement seating area but we asked for another table as the stairs leading to the were a bit steep and narrow and my partner was struggling with them. The request was accommodated without any fuss even though it was busy evening. We wanted to order of the valentines menu but one of the mains item was out not available so the we had to ask for the manager if we could substitute for with an item from the a la carte menu, again this request was accommodated with a little bit of fuss. It was a busy night so noise levels were high but that was to be expected and the food took a little while longer to arrive but was hot and fresh.

No milk or vanilla ice cream which wasn’t good for coffee or puddings. Wrong garlic bread came out had to wait for new one. Lasagne burnt.

We always look forward to dining st Zizzi’s. Great staff. Very nice new menu. And always very good wines to choose from. Our dinner was delightful.

Perfection

Unfortunately the food was quite poor, the prawns we had smelt quite fishy and seemed like they were nearly off. The pasta I had was also not very tasty. The service was good, especially the waitress who served us who was very nice.

Oh we love Zizi! We’ve been a ton of times for lunch and dinner. The food is always great, the service has been hit or miss, but overall highly recommend!

Loud, slow, mediocre food, all bit disappointing really. Didn’t bother ordering desert. Won’t rush back

The restaurant didn’t have our booking, which meant by the time they had found a table and laid it, out meal was rushed as it was a pre-theatre booking. Apart from that was lovely food.

Despite it being very busy, we received a warm welcome from all staff, from the server who seated us to the other staff we passed on our way to our table to the server who took our order and looked after us throughout our meal.
Great food, as always (Chicken salad, sea bass, 'special of the day' wild boar & chorizo pizza, Sicilian lemonade and 'Deeply Rooted' pressé).
Server informed me that the sea bass would take a while, just so that I was aware, and checked on us periodically, despite being busy with other customers.
Felt well looked-after and really enjoyed the meal.

Fancied an evening out in Windsor. Lots of Italian style restaurants to choose from but decided on Zizzi following multiple good reviews - we weren't disappointed. Good service, nice atmosphere, kid friendly and good food...

I am sure it would have been fine if it had not been closed for refurbishment. Opening again on the 12th Oct I think it said. I think we should have been told, however we went to Prezzo next door which was OK.

Have eaten here before. It is a nice Zizzi right opposite the castle, not far from the shops and close to the theatre as well. Part of a large chain of course, but reliable food.

Formula Zizzi in Windsor - is right opposite the castle which is nice view. Also very convenient for theatre.

Not the best night on busy Christmas eve. Main course not the best but the deserts were amazing.

We booked table for 4 and got a slightly cramped table in the window which was fine. Service was efficient and friendly enough without being great or overbearing. The food was served quickly which was good as we had shopping to do before the Panto. Pizza were OK, child's Spagghetti Bolognese was quite a good size and disappeared inside a 7 year olds tummy quickly (he is an expert on Spag Bol and said it was great so would trust his judgement as he has eaten it in some great Italian restaurants before!!). the Seafood Rissotto was OK although a bit tasteless which was a shame. Overall it was convenient and would go back if we needed a pre-Theatre meal again.

Zizzi Windsor is a great place to go for catch up with friends over tasty food and a nice glass of wine. Great atmosphere, friendly, helpful staff and a good price.

We'd cycled 100 miles and needed a good solid meal. The service was quick and friendly, food was yummy and in generous portions. The restaurant was fully booked which because its quite small meant it was quite noisy. Best for groups of friends/family rather than a date/

We booked a table for seven for lunch on Easter Sunday. The restaurant was light and airy and the atmosphere very pleasant. Zizzi Slough was busy without being too noisy, which was a positive, as it enabled us to have a conversation without needing to shout. The food was lovely and the service was excellent.

Zizzi in Windsor is a busy pizza/pasta restaurant. It offers good quality dishes, and wine. They are friendly and efficient.

This restaurant was good value for money and the food was really nice..I would definitely recommend it.

We have dined at Zizzi's before and on this occasion it was a Saturday night. The restaurant was very busy and also very noisy. We had to wait quite a while for our main course as there was some confusion in the kitchen regarding some orders. Pizzas were very nice and full of toppings. We were served by Maria who looked after us really well. Overall a pleasant experience.

Zizzi Slough isn't, it's ZIzzi Windsor, which is a bit confusing. Although Top Table says last reservation is 10pm, they happily seated us at 10.10 after the theater 50 yards down the road, and we had a great dinner of smoked trout salad followed by sea bass baked in foil with lemon, calamari mussels and tomato. This was a perfect light dinner for late evening. The service was impeccable, and overall good value with a nice ambience.

This was my second visit to Zaza Restaurant in Bushey and I was not disappointed. Lovely atmosphere, attentive, friendly and helpful staff. The food was delicious and well presented. I will definitely go again.

Ate at Zizzi, Windsor, last night. It was incredibly busy, but the staff were still helpful and courteous. Food was very good. Would go again.
