Amazing location, a lot of great food, Sunday Roast is fantastic. It’s our 3rd visit and it’s only getting better over the years! Highly recommended.

The Loft’s popularity on a steak night became apparent to us when we met a number of our friends there who go regularly. The service was very good and the food was excellent. The bar tender was engaging and delightful ensuring a throughly welcoming atmosphere as you walked in. We immediately tried to book another table so that we could impress our friends on the 29th July. But unfortunately, it clashed with the chef’s holiday resulting in the Loft being closed for a week.

We booked for breakfast with friends and had a lovely table by the window. Service was good, friendly but not intrusive, and the food was excellent, really enjoyed the new breakfast menu, we had cooked breakfast, bubble and squeak Benedict, poached eggs on toast with bacon plus coffees. Really enjoyed our visit. Would recommend booking to be sure of getting a table.

We had a really lovely evening at Se7en in Bath and would happily recommend it. The food was excellent from start to finish. We began with homemade focaccia and olives, followed by beautifully cooked steaks for our mains. My wife had the sirloin and I had the ribeye, and both were cooked exactly as they should be. The meat was clearly good quality and the whole meal felt fresh, generous and carefully prepared without being overdone. We shared a couple of sides, including spring greens with pancetta and vignole, along with a Mediterranean-style salad with melon, pancetta and other fresh ingredients. Everything worked well together and it was the perfect amount of food. The setting really added to the evening. We sat outside on the patio on a warm night and it had a relaxed, comfortable feel. The chairs were comfortable, the service was friendly and attentive, and the staff made the whole experience feel easy and unforced. One of the things we especially appreciated was how welcoming it was. We had our whippet with us and there was no fuss at all, which is always a big plus. There were also young children at another table, and the restaurant managed to feel both high quality and completely unpretentious. It is the sort of place where you can enjoy very good food without feeling like you have to be on ceremony. We also had a brief chat with the owner, who was clearly attentive and genuinely interested in guests having a good experience. It feels like an independent restaurant run by people who care, and that comes through in both the food and the atmosphere. It is easy to miss because of where it sits among some of the larger chain restaurants nearby, but it is absolutely worth seeking out. A very enjoyable meal, great service, and a genuinely welcoming place.
