The three of us had not seen each other for a long, long time. We talked and talked, and this was the perfect setting. Our food was delicious and our server was there when we paused to catch our breath!

The duck was excellent!! Beautiful lake views, and a series of wonderfully landscaped decks that you can walk down to get to the lake.

We stopped by for brunch en route from Asheville to Charlotte and it really couldn't have been any better. The welcome and service were exemplary, the view to die for and the food was absolutely top notch. My wife had the Silo omelette with a side of home fries and fruit, my son, his girlfriend and I all the Farmers Plate with 'sides' of French toast, sausages, fruit & the Miami lifestyle burrito (which we all shared). Total cost inc numerous coffees and tip came to $170 but we literally didn't eat for the restive the day which, given the current state of airline food, was a blessing!! Im happy to highly recommend and would return in a heartbeat.

My recent visit to Claywood in Hendersonville was truly memorable. The restaurant offers an elevated dining experience that feels both refined and welcoming. The quality of the food was outstanding; you can clearly taste the care put into the ingredients. We were also impressed by their well-curated wine list, which complemented our meal perfectly. Furthermore, the service was excellent throughout the evening—our server was attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring everything ran smoothly. It is worth noting that the pricing is on the higher side. The ribeye, for instance, was $110, and we would have appreciated more options for a smaller steak cut. While it is an investment, the atmosphere and the caliber of the cooking make it a lovely destination for a special occasion. If you are looking for thoughtful, high-quality cuisine in a beautiful setting, Claywood is a fantastic addition to the Hendersonville dining scene. Highly recommended!
