Semolina in Red Bank is exactly the kind of restaurant this town needed. From the moment we sat down, it was clear this wasn't just another Italian spot — the farm-to-table approach genuinely shows in every dish. You can taste the difference when ingredients are actually fresh and sourced with care rather than pulled from a freezer. We started with a few shared plates, and the produce alone was a standout — vibrant, seasonal, clearly local. The pasta was made in-house and cooked perfectly, with sauces that felt balanced rather than heavy or overly salty like you get at so many "red sauce" places. Every course felt thoughtful, like the kitchen actually cares about quality over just turning tables. Service matched the food. Our server was attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about the menu, and happy to make recommendations based on what we liked. Even during a busy night, the pacing of our meal was perfect — no rushing, no long awkward gaps between courses. It's rare to find a restaurant that nails both the food and the experience around it, but Semolina does both really well. Farm-to-table can be a buzzword at a lot of places, but here it actually means something. Highly recommend for a date night, a family dinner, or just treating yourself to a genuinely well-made meal in Red Bank. We'll definitely be back.

Great time at La Cipollina . Young staff but really impressed ! Everyone's meal was spot on - service was exceptional . We tried a lot of their specialties and everything was fantastic ! Carson provided a guided and instructional desert that i cannot recall the name - but was well worth the price and the wait ! Everything was fantastic ! Thanks La Cipollina ! We haven't been back in 20 years and i don't know why ? Great time!

Wow! I had such a great time at Fresh with my friend, this place is a must-go. As soon as we walked in the hostess greeted us happily and our server Erica was amazing. Everyone was attentive and kind and the food was absolutely delicious. Definitely coming back!

The food consistently provides a delightful experience. It's especially convenient to dine here before attending a performance at Two River Theatre, located just across the street!
