Nicollet Island Inn is my new favorite restaurant. Everything from cocktails through to dessert was excellent and the service put the experience over the top. Thanks for a lovely date night!

Hannah provided excellent service. The food was top notch. The starter St. Jacques scallops were rich and melt in your mouth tender. The halibut with olive oil citrus sauce and fresh vegetables was a stand out. The lobster pie sounded amazing (saffron creme, fresh lobster and topped with phyllo with lobster bisque poured on table side) but in reality, the saffron and salt were overpowering. The paella looked mouth-watering and tasted even better, as did the BBQ shortribs. The chocolate souffle with butterscotch creme was on point flavor-wise but oddly liquid in texture--only the top had any structure. The bar had a hard time keeping up. My wine came AFTER my entree was finished. My tea came after dessert, despite the extra time required for the souffle. In all, it's a beautiful restaurant with a solid and interesting menu, and a knowledgeable and gracious waitstaff. A few bumps along the way (more hands needed in the bar!), but a thoroughly enjoyable, even if spendy evening. Go. Enjoy.

Therese did not disappoint! The food was amazing, and so many wonderful choices! We had wonderful and attentive servers. It was a great night with out of town friends.

Best Easter brunch we have ever had. The food selection was more than we expected and everything was delicious. Very impressive and the service was impeccable. My uncle says we are coming back for Mother's and Father's Day if Edinburgh has another brunch buffet those days. Yes, please!
