Brauhaus Napoleon got its name from the history of the inn itself where Napoleon drew up battle plans in the 1800s. The building has existed since 1624 and gives off a friendly, cozy ambience to help you settle in and enjoy your experience. This is a great place to try a huge sampling of home-crafted beers, brandy and schnapps all made on site in Brauhaus Napoleon. Rennbahn Gastronomie is located beside the Scheibenholz racecourse, a historic horse racing track, which has been around since the mid 1800s. Before or after your meal you can go and access the old stands of the course to see what it's like on the inside. Opening the Rennbahn Gastronomie menu gives you many French style meals to choose from. Besides the wonderful hostorical background, Rennbahn Gastronomie is also home to Leipzig's largest beer garden. You can rent it out to use for events and parties or just enjoy the atmosphere with your friends.
