Moro restaurant in London’s Exmouth Market may retain its reputation as one of the hippest restaurants in one of the hippest parts of the capital, but this Clerkenwell restaurant still focuses more on good food than its own image. Moro’s décor with its polished wooden floors, long zinc bar, open view to the kitchen and its charcoal grill and wood-burning oven, is functional and welcoming. Cuisine of the southern Mediterranean, from the Iberian Peninsula into Northern Africa, is the menu’s exclusive province.
Azou is an inviting restaurant on Chiswick’s busy King Street, winner of Ramsay's Best Restaurant, North African category, & awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand. Specialising in the cuisine of Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria, Azou’s menu contrasts sweet and spicy, bold and subtle, light and heavy with traditional dishes imbued with North African colour, flavour and texture. The restaurant is cosy and warm, decorated in a typically North African style, complete with lavishly embroidered upholstery and soft, colourful rugs, deep red painted arches and dimly glowing lanterns. Azou is full of character and charm.

Tucked beneath the surface, Downstairs at 180 has evolved into one of London’s most quietly compelling jazz rooms. A family-run space at its core, it carries a sense of care and continuity you can feel the moment you step inside. This isn’t music as background, but as the reason you’re there. As well as a speakeasy cocktail bar, it’s a listening room at heart. Live jazz sits at the centre of the experience: stripped-back and intimate. Each performance feels close enough to touch; musicians trading phrases just feet away, the room breathing with them. Between sets, the carefully curated music carries the same intention, blending deep cuts with timeless records that shape the club’s identity.Come an join us for cocktails, the best sharing platesin London and great jazz. Please note we have live jazz performances on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings from 8pm to 10/11pm.
This rustic trattoria in Canterbury is the result of a delightful tale of serendipity... The Olive Grove came to fruition when two Italian travellers who were childhood friends became stranded after their car broke down just outside the city, and after falling in love with the place the friends decided to stay put and together created this authentic Italian eatery that has become a hit on the local dining scene. Filled with wooden furniture, terra cotta coloured walls and potted plants, the Olive Grove has a unique, down-to-earth atmosphere, and star dishes include the Fiorentina pizza and the scalloppine al limone – veal in a lemon butter and white wine sauce served with roast potatoes.
