Clark and Schwenk, friends over the years, discussed starting a place of their own and traded ideas over what the menu would be like. Finally, at the beginning of 2007, they felt ready to strike out on their own and made that vision happen. “I looked around Atlanta and saw a need for a really good old-school restaurant,” Clark says. That restaurant would become C&S Oyster Bar, specializing in classic New York and Paris brasserie-style cuisine. Clark possesses a passion for French cuisine and claims that it comes from the French’s appreciation for balance. Their focus on vegetables, fish, and meat as the primary vehicles of flavor allow for emphasis to be placed on the freshness of the ingredients.Proper attire required.     Had a great dinner at C&S Seafood & Oyster Bar tonight. We sat on the patio and had an amazing experience. Coby was our server and was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was outstanding. The lamb chops were incredibly flavorful and cooked perfectly, and the creamed spinach was delicious. The chargrilled oysters were excellent, and the tuna tartare was extremely flavorful. 5 stars for the white chocolate cheesecake. ⭐️✨

    Stopped by the Brookhaven location of C&S Seafood for happy hour and appetizers! Their 4-6 PM happy hour deal is only at Brookhaven and Sandy Springs and includes oysters, wine, beer, and a burger. Hands down, they have the best chargrilled oysters in Atlanta. This batch was a little spicier than the Vinings location, but still delicious (just ask for light seasoning if you're sensitive to heat). We paired the oysters with calamari, truffle fries, and a couple of glasses of the HH Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc. Everything tasted good, and our server Dayvion gave us excellent service. They have valet and a parking deck right next door. Definitely recommend if you're in the neighborhood!
