The food was really good, but what stood out most was the exceptional service from John. He was genuinely one of the best waiters I’ve come across. From start to finish, his attitude was fantastic, incredibly friendly, attentive, helpful and professional without ever being overbearing. Nothing felt like too much trouble for him, and the way he interacted with us made us feel genuinely welcome and looked after throughout the evening. Great food and an enjoyable experience overall, but John’s outstanding service really elevated the evening and deserves special recognition. He’s a real credit to the restaurant. Would definitely return!

We visited V'ra by Saraas restaurant for the first time, and honestly, it was well worth the journey. We came from quite far away, so we had high hopes — and we’re so happy to say that the experience exceeded them. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and special. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully prepared and full of flavour. The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was warm, attentive and friendly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Sometimes you travel a long way for somewhere and wonder if it will really be worth it — this place absolutely was. Every mile of the journey was worth it, and we left already talking about coming back again. A wonderful first visit and a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended! ❤️

Truly authentic Indian food, tandoor items are really good and must try, and their curries very flavourful. Best dosa in Hertfordshire!
