Celebrated our 18 year wedding anniversary there lastnight. Our server was great & food was delicious. The manager came by and wished us a Happy Anniversary and had rose petals at our table. Will definitely be going back.

How House of Toro isn't impossible to get a reservation every night is beyond me. Located inside The Ricardo Marriott in Westlake, this place feels like a hidden speakeasy that you almost don't want to tell anyone about. The moment you walk in, you're greeted with a dark, sexy, moody atmosphere that immediately tells you this isn't your average steakhouse. The hospitality deserves its own standing ovation. Our server, Jose, was exceptional - knowledgeable, attentive, and somehow always there exactly when we needed him. The maître d' (Tim) was equally impressive, making us feel genuinely welcomed while telling us his very interesting family history!  As for the food... every single plate was outstanding. We shared oysters, Lobster Cargot, the Toro Wedge Salad, a bone-in ribeye with bone marrow butter, the Ibérico pork chop, whole Branzino fish (2 pounds!), and the scallops, and there wasn't a weak link anywhere on the table. The cocktails were perfectly balanced, and the cotton candy dessert was the ideal light, sweet ending to an unforgettable meal. For four people with cocktails, we spent a little over $600, and I'd gladly do it again tomorrow. This wasn't just dinner - it was an experience. I already have a running list of everything I want to order next time because there is so much more on the menu I need to try. House of Toro has officially earned a spot on my "special occasion... or honestly, any excuse" list.Don't let the Marriott location fool you. This is one of North Texas' best-kept dining secrets.
