First time going to farmhouse and in a short few words all I’ll see is you have to try it? Amazing food very friendly staff and a very nice place will be going again. Travel travelled from Nottingham.

Had a great experience, food was amazing, the salad bar was full of delicious items, the sides came and were replaced and the meats were to die for - the grilled pineapple was also amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful as well. The place was spotlessly clean. We were there on a Tuesday afternoon, so it was a little quiet but still a great place to go.

The four of us thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Blacklock the food was amazing and the service top class! We will be back.

A real Italian restaurant, although with some changes to menu style to suit local expectations, this is a welcome change from the many chain restaurants that are the same everywhere. Very good food, and a reasonably extensive and not over-priced wine list. My veal was perfectly cooked (pink), as was my wife's fish. The portion sizes are reasonable, so don't be afraid to order a couple of side dishes. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Service was perhaps just a little too rapid for my taste, I'd have preferred a slightly longer wait to finish my cocktail, and between courses, but that's very much personal preference. We will certainly return.
