Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The atmosphere is great. Noise level a bit elevated but not unbearable. We easily had conversation. A great menu with a variety of options. Probably some of the best carpaccio we've ever had. I had the Bolognese and my wife had the chicken piccata. Both were delicious and enough to take home for another meal. We couldn't have been happier with the wait staff. They were friendly, knowledgeable and very fun. We'll definitely be back for another date night

Ten years in, Twisted Tree has quietly become one of the best restaurants in St. Louis, full stop. My wife and I go at least once, sometimes twice, a month, and it has been our favorite spot for years. This is the place I took her on our first date, so it holds a special place for us, but sentiment aside, the food earns every visit on its own. The steaks are exceptional. The aging process they use gives the beef a depth of flavor you just do not find at most places in town, and the sear off that flattop is consistently beautiful. The family-style salad, the batter-fried lobster, the service that is attentive without hovering: it all adds up to a dining experience that feels genuinely special every single time. I will be honest about the one thing that used to bug me. The steak knives were always dull, to the point where I started bringing my own just to cut through a great piece of meat properly. I mentioned it, and I am happy to report they actually listened. They have brand new steak knives now, and they work great. That is the mark of a place that cares about the details and takes feedback seriously. If you are looking for the best steak in St. Louis and a team that treats you right, Twisted Tree is it. Ten years down and still getting better. We will keep coming back.

Our server Abigail L was wonderful! She made a small birthday card for my girlfriend and made sure to wish her a happy birthday. She made the already excellent experience more fun with good recommendations - the food and drinks were great, the atmosphere is fun, and Olive and Oak remains our favorite restaurant!

Visited on a Friday, had a reservation for the 2 couch areas which hold a combined 12 people. Ann was assigned to assist us and she was very friendly and thorough. Was required to cover the bill on 1 check, so if you have a large crowd, be prepared or send everyone to the bar separately. Gratuity was also included for the large group. We had a great time.

Love this venue and they always have great food!!!
