Recently refurbished, the welcoming décor pays tribute to Stratford’s most famous former resident, William Shakespeare as well as incorporating a nod to its owners, the historic Brewing House, Davenports which was established in 1829. You can expect great ales, whilst the attractive central bar is well-stocked with popular spirits and boasts a super cocktail menu which are freshly prepared to order. Choose to dine in the comfy snug or around one of the tables indoors, there’s also a wonderful garden terrace with heaters to the rear, and alfresco tables on warmer days to the front of the pub.
