    Anytime we’re back in Kansas City. We stop at Lazia. We had the pleasure of working with Carter again. I gotta tell you, he’s got the best hair in all of Kansas City. And the voice of an angel. His laugh could solve world peace. All of his suggestions were 10 out of 10. Overall the dinner was euphoric.

    Not our first trip to Grunauer. The dining room is spacious so you don't feel on top of the table next to you. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and allowed us to take our time to enjoy our wine and bread service before taking our order for our entrees. The food was excellent. I am a big fan of the mixed plate which includes a smoked pork chop, pork belly and a sausage. Served with sauerkraut and potatoes, there is plenty to take home. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the chicken schnitzel served with cucumber salad, potato salad and a lingonberry sauce. We enjoyed a shared pavlova for dessert. The whipped cream, baked meringue with a scoop of fruit sorbet was delicious. Another excellent dining experience at Grunauer.

    Everything was exceptional. Starting with the service from the minute we walked up until the minute we left, everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, presentation was phenomenal, and the ambiance was perfect! We were visiting for my wife's birthday and drove up from Northwest Arkansas. Needless to say, we were amazed and will be coming back!
