An incredible dining experience. We celebrated my wife’s 50th birthday there. There were three of us for dinner. Everything was top notch. We had excellent old fashioneds to start. We shared 2 appetizers, three entrees and 2 desserts. Every single plate was excellent. The service was excellent as well. Our waiter paid attention to the pacing and sequenced the plates and drinks expertly. We will definitely return and we will be brand ambassadors for this restaurant.

Cuvee is a wonderful restaurant. We were customers at chef/owner Gilbert Henry’s Portland restaurant, Winterborne, and very much enjoyed the way in which he prepared oysters. He continues that tradition at Cuvee in Carlton, along with a variety of dishes. We have thoroughly enjoyed every meal that we have had at Cuvee and plan to return for many more.

Hayward was incredible! Set in Carlton’s charming old brick fire station, we loved the covered patio. Every bite was exceptional—the chanterelle croquettes were better than ones we’ve had in Spain and an absolute must. The ling cod, panzanella salad and ravioli were all fantastic, and the margaritas were a surprisingly amazing standout. Every table was full, clearly with many locals, yet the service was spectacular. Fabulous food, wonderful atmosphere, and a place we absolutely hope to return to.

Would love to go back. Excellent food with fresh, local ingredients and server was very helpful and informative. Great ambiance.

We went here for our anniversary and set a reservation for right at 5pm when they open. We got to pick our table which was nice. Its very cozy and cute. The tables are close together so keep that in mind if you're wanting privacy. The place filled up shortly after we ordered so it got a bit louder but not too bad. You can tell its a popular spot. The service was prompt and friendly. We got the fromage charcuterie and there was so much yumminess, I feel like it would be enough for a group of 4 or 5. We didn't realize they were waiting on us to tell them we were ready for the entrees so if you're waiting a while, that may be why....! I got the cassoulet and my husband got the burger. I honestly thought the cassoulet would be a small little pot or bowl NOPE - it was a decent sized skillet and I barely made a dent. My husband finished the burger, he loved it and said the fries were amazing. We took the rest home, happily! We got the basque cheesecake and a single profiterole (so happy they offered just one as that was enough for me). Everything was delicious, the staff was helpful and sweet. We really enjoyed ourselves. I'm sure we'll be back for brunch or lunch.
