Everything was perfect: gorgeous ambiance, delicious food, and wonderful service! We can’t wait to return and wish we lived closer so we could pop by.

Really good food and excellent service in a nice place

We had eaten at the Laurel for Easter and were wowed by the flavors and combinations Ashley wove into her food. Last night was our second visit and Ashley did not disappoint! We started with one of Mother Nature’s joys, oysters…fresh, right and briny..Yum! We then chose the Wagyu beef skewers and the Brown butter spatzle…delicious combination. The beef was as tender and flavorful as expected, but the accompanying olive, date and seed salad really crowned the beef with even more deliciousness! When we first saw the spaetzle, we looked at each other and acknowledged this was very different from what we were accustomed to (German style) and it didn’t matter one bit once we tasted it. The veggies were so fresh and vibrant, the spaetzle tender with a slight chew but the brown butter broth spiked with enoki kicked this dish over the top! Ashley has an expert hand in flavors and it shines in her food. Capped off the meal with Tres Leches tiramisu…so freakin good and light at the same time! So, if you’re on the fence about trying The Laurel, don’t wait! Go! Your taste buds will thank you!

My wife and I were there celebrating our anniversary. From the time we arrived until we left, they treated us with special and wonderful care. That included a card, champagne toast, and small shared dessert, all at no cost. We will absolutely go there again for a great meal, but most certainly on our next anniversary. They were amazing!

Food was excellent as always. Our server, Ellen, was as extraordinary! Attentive but not intrusive, friendly and charming- she made us laugh, answered our questions and made us feel welcomed and valued.
