Based in Danbury, Stanziato's is known for its wood-fired pizzas and a variety of cocktails, beer and wine. The restaurant prepares food on the Italian-style wood fire ovens. The chefs at Stanziato's prepare dough by hand-kneading all ingredients and setting it aside to set. Baked at 800+ degrees, the wood-fire makes the dough crunchy from the outside and fluffy from the inside.
