The Dining Room at Sun Mountain Lodge provides brunch and dinner in an upscale-casual atmosphere for both hotel guests and outside diners alike, while the Bar & Grill provides a relaxed first-come-first-served atmosphere for afternoon bites and dinner. Our menus are inspired by the Methow Valley, consisting of locally sourced meats and produce with select seasonal rotations. Brunch is served in the dining room from our incredible a-la cart menu from 7:30am until 1:00pm with lunch items available until 2:00pm. Dinner is served from 5pm until 8pm from our diverse and diner friendly menu in both the Dining Room and Bar. Reservations are strongly recommended for both brunch and dinner in the Dining Room.Bar Bites are served in the Bar & Grill from 2pm until 9pm with TV's available to watch your favorite sports teams and networks while enjoying our large variety of crafted cocktails and classic bar favorites. Modern Vineyard Cuisine inspired by our Indigenous roots. We proudly sit on the traditional land of the Syilx People of the Okanagan Nation. Our inspiration for the name of our new signature restaurant comes from a chaptik story passed down through the generations of our First Nations people of the Okanagan.The Syilx People of the Okanagan Nation approach to food is based on the creation stories of their culture and we’ve taken their stories as the inspiration for the name of our restaurant: “The Bear, The Fish, The Root & The Berry,” based on the story of the Four Food Chiefs.The Four Food Chiefs are central: Skimxist Black Bear (chief of animals, representing self-sacrifice, leadership, giving), Ntytikxw Chinook Salmon (water creatures, perseverance, hard work), Speetlum Bitterroot (plants below the round, relationships to the land) and Seeya Saskatoon Berry (plants above ground, growth, strength, community) are legendary and the elements of indigenous cuisine.

    Mindy our server was amazing. We were not rushed and were able to truly enjoy the amazing atmosphere of Sorrento’s. We dined on the clams and ahi appetizers and had cioppino, tagliatelle pescador and the king salmon special.

    Quality ingredients and perfectly prepared food. Thank you chef! The restaurant has charm and is obviously committed to quality. The menu is limited. This is a must in any visit to Twisp or Winthrop.

    We love the Veranda! The food is outstanding. It was,our anniversary and we were greeted with complimentary bubbles and a sign at our table wishing us a "Happy Anniversary". I love,their parker house rolls -warm.and fluffy on the inside with truffle chive butter. The Cauliflower with Kung Pao sauce was AMAZING. I hope that stays on the menu indefinitely. Beef Bourgignon is a personal favorite of mine and it did not disappoint. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the Strozzapretti. Portions were generous (we both took food home). And the Chocolate Mousse with blueberries, whipped cream.and a sprinkling of crunch and a drizzle of butterscotch was truly otherworldly. We ordered one each but we could have easily shared one given the richness of it. Our server was attentive in all the best ways. We hope to return soon. We are so happy to have the Veranda in the valley.
