We were greeted pleasantly by the hostess who graciously allowed us to ‘pick’ the ‘best table’ for our party. When our group was complete, our server, Baptiste, explained the happy hour specials and provided recommendations. We ordered mussels and frites and a charcuterie board as appetizers and selected a bottle of excellent white French wine. Both appetizers were delivered fresh and flavorful. Our entrees consisted of trout, chicken and chicken crepes. All of our selections were delicious and well presented. A special treat were the chocolate eclair we shared for dessert and a small pot of French press coffee. Baptiste was attentive and friendly throughout our meal and we were able to enjoy each other’s company because of the well paced dining rhythm that Baptiste, his assisting staff and the kitchen provided.
