Located on the second floor of the Hyatt Regency Seattle, guests enjoy downtown views, traditional steakhouse favorites and an award-winning wine list. A 20% service charge is included. 100% of this service charge is retained by Schwartz Brothers Restaurants. We strive to be an employer of choice and our servers are paid a base wage and a separate commission based on their sales. Additional gratuity is not expected and purely optional.     Waitress was very attentive until we placed our order. Once our order was placed we didn’t really see her and then we told her we had to go to a show at 8:00 if we could get our bill and she never brought it. We had to wave down the manager to pay. This is really frustrating since we have to pay 20% gratuities whether we feel she earned it our not.

    The food was tasty but tremendously overpriced! Also, the service was terrible! The staff was friendly, but they seemed to be confused when it came to delivering our orders (no bread, wrong wine, forgotten salad). It was a very disappointing dinner for our out-of-town guests.

    Filet mignon no flavor at all. Beef cooked as requested but no flavor. Glass of wine was served when I was finishing the meal.

    Parts of this experience were fantastic, the bread service and salad were amazing. The roasted chicken was phenomenal. The filet mignon steak was average at best and the lobster was severely overcooked at $115 for a tail they claimed was 8-12 Oz but was likely 5-6 Oz at best. We should have complained about the overcooked food but we already felt like we were inconveniencing the staff as it was as they were noticeably bothered by our presence which I believe was a result of a forced 20% gratuity which was in no way earned but gave no reason to give adequate service on the wildly over priced food.

    Downtown Seattle is a hotbed of steakhouses, especially the Convention Center zone, and it's a treat indeed to find one as fine as this as one of the hotel house restaurants. While not quite as extensive in its menus as the flagship Lake Union restaurant, this outlet makes up for it in location and convenient hours. You'll still find a tome of a wine list, cuts of steak for damn near every palate, and great tableside prep.

    We enjoyed splitting the 12 oz filet with garlic mash potatoes and added the Signature Oscar Style topping. The Coconut Fudge Sunday was delicious and fun to have to top off the meal
