sabine is a café, bar, and bakery serving a lively daytime and nighttime experience for all on ballard ave. here you'll find vibrant espresso drinks, colorful cocktails, and fresh breakfast, lunch, and dinner served daily. our inviting menus by chef dunkelberger draw upon mediterranean influences with middle eastern spices and herbs, while our dedication to using local, in-season, and organic ingredients wherever we can highlights the bounty of the northwest. our mezze and salatim dishes are meant to be shared; here we value the community that dining together brings.

    Love the enclosed glassed seating g area; our server was very helpful and patient with all of our questions and slowness in ordering. We ordered too much food—the Sabine special app combo was almost enough food by itself. Prices, as with all restaurants I guess, pretty expensive, although portions were mostly very generous.

    Delicious Salatim- hope that’s spelled correctly. I could have eaten just that for dinner, but the lamb kabobs my dining partner got were excellent and so was the roasted chicken I got. Even the chicken breast was cooked perfectly as very often it can be dry and tasteless. Not here! Great service by everyone.

    Had a great dinner at Sabine. Everything was very tasty and service was very nice and accommodating. I was surprised on a Tuesday 7PM dinner that many items on the menu had run out. With that said, we were taken care of and will be back! Loved the beef areyes

    Awesome food overall! The Halibut Labneh , the lamb meatballs and the grilled chicken were excellent. Cocktails were delicious. Highly recommend this place if you are craving for excellent middle eastern food and a good ambience!

    The food was good but the service was terrible. We ordered a tray of appetizers but we weren’t provided with any small plates. Our waitress rarely stopped by to see if we needed anything. Dishes stacked up and weren’t cleared.

    Innovatively Mediterranean, and delicious, Sabine provided us with a great, casual, early evening meal. Really, we could have been delighted, and full, with just the appetizers, but couldn't resist sharing two main courses, as well. The eggplant and halibut were both uniquely flavored and excellent.
