A modern take on the great British chophouse, Blacklock Birmingham is nestled inside a beautiful Grade II listed Vicarage on Cathedral Square. We source the best meat in the country from award-winning Cornish farmer and butcher Philip Warren, and cook our chops the simple way, over charcoal, with a little help from our vintage Blacklock irons. This results in perfectly charred chops, steaks and plates made for sharing.All of this is served up alongside generous sides, wine on tap and cocktails served from our cocktail trolley. On Sundays we serve roasts almost as good as Mum’s with all the trimmings and (unlimited) gravy. Don't forget to try Granny's White Chocolate Cheesecake for dessert!Bookings and walk-ins welcome.

    We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary, and the customer service we received from Paris was truly exceptional. The food was delicious, and we greatly appreciated the private dining experience, which made the occasion even more special. Paris is a real credit to the team. We were delighted to share our positive experience with the manager, and Paris absolutely deserves recognition for her outstanding professionalism, attentiveness, and warm hospitality. Thank you for helping make our anniversary celebration so memorable.

    We visited on Saturday early evening and as soon as we walked in the service was great. We had a fillet steak and sirloin and they were both cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. Would definitely recommend the fillet and the sweet potato was great. Will definitely be back.

    First time visit to this Restaurant. Started off with some fantastic Cocktails from their extensive Cocktail Menu. Seated in a cosy booth. I chose to have the King Prawns to start with which were both tasty and cooked well. For main I had the Ribeye steak which I asked to be cooked Medium/Rare - and that is exactly what I got!! Everyone in my party extremely happy with what they ordered as well. Staff were excellent and very attentive. Thoroughly pleasant night. Only surprised that there were not more people there as it was quiet but this did not affect the overall experience. Would definitely recommend
